Bourjois Rouge Edition Bullet Lipstick 18 Violine Strass Purples, 3.5g

I love this lipstick! This is the second time I've bought it (I have several other shades from the same range), and will probably buy it again when it runs out.In the tube, the colour looks quite dark, almost brown, and has a small amount of glitter. When applied (on me, at least) it looks much brighter and more of a pink-plum. The glitter is barely noticeable, except to give a sheen - definitely no sparkle.The lipstick is easy to apply, and doesn't bleed, even without lip liner. It can be built up or blotted off to give a range of effects, from a light berry stain to a full glossy plum. It does transfer (eg to a glass or cup) but is not sticky or oily and wipes off very easily. The colour fades evenly between applications, and can be removed completely with minimal effort.My lipstick collection is huge and varied, but this shade holds its own among classics and high-end products. I highly recommend it.

I like the easy way it goes on also its long lasting. some lipsticks come off so you have to re apply a few times of an evening, with this lipstick it lasted all night after one application. I did expect it to be a shade lighter but i still love it

Loved the colour of this product whilst searching for a new lippy so decided to get one. It's not the same in shops because all testers have been removed due to covid so getting a new item of makeup isn't as good as it was, but safety is obviously paramount.Anyway, so the product arrives and I am quite excited but when I try it on I'm disappointed with the thickness/consistency. The colour is fabulous however it's just not thick enough to give a good lasting coverage because it's more like a gloss in a stick than a lipstick and I didn't really want that. Don't get me wrong, I'll still wear it but in order to get the coverage I want and the less glossy look, I've had to buy another lipstick (that's not as good as I hoped either but that's a whole other review!) And you shouldn't have to combine lipsticks to get the right colour/effect/thickness/coverage/durability etc.

I like everything about it. A colour i have used for years. A well designed colour and super quality. Some lipsticks really pong with a sickly cloying scent...not so this one.

I always find it very difficult to choose the right colour of lipstick even when in a shop and testing it on my skin, but this was very much the shade that I thought it would be from the photographs nd the quality of lipstick was very good.
