Bought this for my wife—now she sees everything. I mean everything.
I got this Conair Lighted Makeup Mirror as a thoughtful gift for my wife, thinking, “She’ll love having better lighting for makeup.” What I didn’t realize was that I was handing her a 10X magnification portal of power that would forever change her grooming routine—and possibly our marriage. She flipped to the regular side and said, “Ooooh, nice.”She flipped to the 10X side and said, “WHAT. IS. THAT.”Then she proceeded to inspect her face like a NASA engineer examining the surface of Mars. Why she loves it:Lighting: Three light settings mean she can go from “soft brunch glow” to “interrogation room spotlight” with the tap of a button. Perfect for makeup, tweezing, or just staring deeply into her soul.Magnification: That 10X zoom is no joke. She found pores that didn’t even know they existed. I think she scared one into closing forever. Bonus: She hasn’t missed a single eyebrow hair since.360° Rotation: She can angle it to exactly where she needs it, and I can avoid being blinded when I walk into the bathroom at 6 AM.Looks great: The satin nickel finish makes our bathroom look way fancier than it actually is. Like, hotel fancy. Like “do I need a robe for this mirror?” fancy.Final Thoughts:My wife absolutely loves this mirror. She uses it every single day, and I get serious husband points every time she says, “Ugh I love this mirror.”And yes, the 10X side has now caught stray eyebrow hairs, mascara smudges, and possibly a glimpse of a wrinkle trying to form.Would I buy it again? Yes.Am I afraid of what it will show next? Also yes.But if your wife wants to see it all—this is the mirror.Mission: Accomplished, Husband Level: Expert.

It actually works!
Conair does have nice quality. This is the 3rd mirror I have bought here, and I waited a while to make sure everything worked and stays working. There are different settings for the amount/type of light, and I find the lighting adequate. This is maybe a little pricier than some of the other brands on amazon, but not much. I think you get what you pay for. The other ones only worked for a couple of months, then the lights quit working, and/or the plug in quit working. I would definitely recommend this mirror.

Love this mirror!!!
I had an older version of this mirror for many years until it broke but there was only one light option. I got this mirror to replace it and love all the various light options on this one plus this version is lighter weight so easier to move around. I noticed some comments think the magnifying side is too strong, this is a MAGNIFYING MIRROR, that's the point. This mirror is 10x magnified on one side, if you don't want that string there are other mirrors with less magnification. I got a cheaper mirror for awhile that was not nearly as good as this one and the magnified side was not as strong and I hated it. I want to see every wrinkle, spot and speck on my face and that is what you get with this mirror. This is an EXCELLENT makeup mirror. The only change I would make is to make the cord clear like the old version, the cord is black and sticks out like a sore thumb, not sure why they changed the color.

Bright light and true10x magnification
This LED mirror has good magnification. It has a true 10x magnification and bright light. This is the second LED mirror I've tried and it's better than the first one, but neither one is as good as the old incandescent makeup mirrors. Facial hair is not as easy to see as it was with the incandescent models. The mirror is attractive and it was easy to set up right out of the box. It's a simple plug-in style, no batteries.

What I was looking for
I was looking for a makeup mirror with electrical cord, not rechargeable, in a brushed brass finish. This was one of the only options I found, which contributes to my 5-star rating. The 1X side and the variable lighting options are very good. The 10X side is a little challenging. You need to put your face almost all the way up against the mirror to use the 10X side, otherwise there is major distortion as others have noted. Once you find the sweet spot to use the 10X you can see the tiniest eyebrow hairs! I do think the mirror is a little pricey, even using a15% off limited time offer.

This is a good mirror
Have not had good luck with usb type mirrors so decided to go back to the wired type even though they are 2 to 3 times more expensive! Why is that anyway? Have owned many Conair products and one very similar to this previously. The only thing I didn’t like was that the light does eventually burn out. No problem though because Amazon carries replacement bulbs. Anyway, this mirror is pretty much perfect. It is super bright on its brightest setting and also has three warmth settings, if you like that feature. The magnification side is great. I can even see to pluck those wild eyebrow hairs. The mirror is nice and big. Can see all of my face easily and it’s the perfect height on a counter or vanity. Can even see just fine to dry and style hair. The only odd thing I’ve found is that on its brightest/highest setting, you can hear a tiny motor whining. I’m guessing this is a micro fan that comes on to keep light from overheating, although, I’m not sure. I just turned it down one setting and the noise stops. So if something like that would bug you, it’s just something to be aware of. Otherwise, I’m sure I’ll get many hours of use out of this mirror. No more usb lights for me.

Great mirror because it is 10x strength, has light and flips. Not tooo big or too small. Hard to find another with all these options in one. Simple and perfect.
