Why does the fan shut off after so long with out setting the timer? I bought 2 of these to circulate air in my upper loft, but if they shut off they

I was trying to figure out the same thing. I've been informed by rowenta that the fan shuts off after twelve hours if you haven't picked an earlier shut off. Really? What's wrong with you people? It's my effing fan!!! I bought it!!! I'm not renting it. At this point it's too late for me, but on general principle, spend your money on products you can actually control. I guess I'll go howl at the moon, now. Grrrr!

Current turbo fan can angle higher than stairs (about 45 degrees) so it cools the warmer upstairs bedrooms. Can this fan angle that high?

Not even half lol maybe 15°. It has a very heavy base, I just put a 2x4 under it to make it aim higher. About 45°. And it's still very sturdy.

Is this fan powerful?

Powerful is a subjective description, I purchased it so I would have a nice breeze on me at night while sleeping without some noisy fan running. It’s on low when I use it. Best fan for night sleeping I have found. Not sure about how powerful it is.

How do you register it none of the numbers or description on their user guide or the Box seemed to work

At last , a quiet fan !

So happy with this fan that I bought a second one . On its lowest setting it is silent , but still produces a great cool breeze . I can’t usually sleep with air con or fans because of the noise . I can with this fan . Expensive , but worth every penny .

Quality appliance

At the lowest setting it’s super quiet, but just right to move the air in an air conditioned home. Higher settings get progressively louder but never too loud to grate on our nerves. Love the natural setting option and ease of setting the timer. Easy to assemble and disassemble for cleaning, not like those bladeless tower fans. Yes it’s more expensive, but the quality of the materials and motor show. This fan looks like something we’ll have for several years.

Beautiful fan with air settings that were new to me.

Very NICE fan. It is very, very quiet on the lowest settings. Higher settings are quiet too, compared to other fans I have heard. I am awed by one of the low settings that is a very soft "breeze" that automatically rotates (after a bit of time) with a slightly stronger "breeze" (within the same setting). Built nicely / nice design. Is slightly heavy. The remote works perfectly. I decided I am going to order a second one.
