Q: Is it true that this punch has bigger holes than the Staples and Rolla disk punches? I understand that makes the paper move easier, less jamming.

Don, I don't have any way of comparing the hole sizes, since I haven't seen the two brands you mention. I've found the metal discs to be made with greater precision than the plastic which makes the paper glide more easily, but can't speak to the other brands you mentioned. Eric

I have not tried cutting plastic, but I am confident that it would not be a problem. If you wanted to punch card stock, I have had no trouble cutting normal weight card-making papers. But I would be concerned that cutting bulky materials would dull the sharpness of the punches. Also, it is difficult to measure how thick a piece would fit beneath the punches. A relatively sturdy piece of cardstock or cover material would probably be fine. Rather than a thick chipboard, I would recommend opting for a different cover material.

Yes, it will punch 6 holes for 4.13 x 5.9.

Yes, the Levenger punch will work with the Bluline Miraclebind notebook. I added pics to my original review. Pictures show a sheet paper from the Tul Jr in the Miraclebind Notebook. The holes line up. The Levenger hole punch will allow for removal of the punches to eliminate the extra holes on blank spaces of the Miraclebind. Picture of the back of the Levenver punch shows the screws that attach the actual punch.
