Back to the drawing board on this one
Tried connecting Thunderbolt to DP cable from Macbook Pro to this device to a LG 38" 3840x1600 monitor. It just cycles every 5 seconds and never displays on the monitor.

Perfect for my second Monitor
This worked perfectly for my second monitor. It is small also and easy to carry along

Doesn't work for High Res Monitors sort of!
Does not work for the Samsung G9 OLED. Despite this thing saying it is 8K it doesn't display on the Samsung G9 OLED with a 5120 * 1440 resolution. It fails to register a signal and if it does it will just go away after a few seconds. NOW if you choose 120hz refresh on this monitor then it will work but why would you do that on a 240hz monitor that you bought? If you wanted to use this on a high refresh rate monitor with a 32:9 aspect ratio, it is too many pixels for this switch to handle. If you are doing a regular 21:9 then this might be fine.

Doesn’t work with my 240hz 1440p
It worked but the screen glitched out every 10 seconds. Wanted it to work but I guess just switching manually will have to do. I have two pcs into one monitor.
