Perfect replacement part!
Wife's laptop charge cable sheet the bed and this one is doing the job 10 fold! Super fast charge! I opted for a high output charger and it definitely paid off! Very good investment.

Good replacement charger
Needed a second laptop charger after leaving my charger at vacation home several times. Had purchased several "universal" chargers that would not fit my laptop. Arrived quickly and work fine. Only issue is the plug to my laptop does not seem as secure as the original charger.

Not for Aspire 5
This is supposed to be a replacement charger for an Acer Aspire 5. It is not. On the left in this photo, is the input of an Aspire 5 charger, on the right is what they're trying to pass as an Aspire 5 charger. Waste of money.

Wow! Absolutely surprised this fixed the power problem
In 20+ years of dealing with computer problems, not once has a power plug problem been the adapter. It's always been the port it plugs into on the motherboard.This Acer design. Is by far the worst I've seen since the early days of laptops. Having seen this type of problem so many times, I actually bought the jack first and replaced the component on the motherboard. I was completely surprised when it didn't fix the problem of Windows alerting (beeping) whenever you jiggled the power adapter plug in the power port.When I had the desoldered OEM jack component removed from the mobo, I fiddled around with it, connecting and disconnecting the power adapter plug many times. I noticed that the plug did not have a very tight grip on the power pin inside the jack. So this pointed to a potential problem with the plug, which likely has a small tongue inside that holds onto the power pin. This plug is the smallest one I've ever seen for a laptop, so you can't see inside the barrel of the plug to really see what's going on in there. I decided to just take a chance and buy a new adapter.And the rest is history.Bottom line --if your plug appears to slide out of the power jack too easily, it's very likely that you need a new adapter, and not a new jack for the motherboard. Again... first time I've ever seen this not be a problem with the jack becoming desoldered or the pin inside the jack coming loose.

Short Cord
The cord on this replacement is not as long as the original one that came with my laptop. Also, the prong that plugs into the laptop doesn't seem to fit as snugly as the original and if you barely bump it, it disconnects and quits charging. it's not horrible, but not good, either.
