Create a Bubbly Starter in 3 to 4 Days
This starter worked very well. Previously, I created a starter from scratch with just flour and water. The starter looked good, but I could not get a decent loaf of sourdough bread. I followed some other instructions to fix my starter, but it just killed my starter. So, I tried this starter. It took 4 days to get a great starter. I haven't tried to cook sourdough bread, yet, but I am confident that this starter will create great bread.

Works great for this Sourdough newbie!
Previously, I'd tried a dried starter given to me by a friend, without much luck. Definitely user error on my part!KneadAce came to the rescue with their own starter. The starter was strong and worked as described over the following days! Since my sourdough introduction, a few months ago, I've really come to love this company. They've got a great line of products and are so helpful and responsive to their customers. I getting pretty good at this now and I'm starting to make the fancy breads. My bread baking ability has improved dramatically and my family loves the smell and taste of our fresh, organic sourdough

READ THIS IF YOUR A NEWBIE!!
The media could not be loaded. I wanted to come on here and leave a REAL review to follow. I am a complete newbie with sourdough and have been wanting to test my hand at it. I went through and bought everything I needed and the recommended tools to have on hand. I even bought the kneadace pro jar. I bought this dehydrated starter instead of making my own to make things easier and so I wouldn’t lose hope if my starter didn’t make it. Anyway this arrived Friday, once I got it I immediately dove it. My advice keep a small journal to write each day down, what you do/changes, USE A SCALE and throw out the cloth cover and only use the silicone!!Day 1 I started the starter around 2pm mixed with water. STIR STIR STIR. keep stirring. Make sure the room isn’t too cold. I put mine in the warmest spot of the house and it was around 75 degrees the whole time. So directions say wait 3 hours. Don’t do that, wait until there’s no more flakes and they are all dissolved. ONCE all flakes are dissolved do your first feed of flour. I use King Arthur organic. Stir well and Cover with silicone lid and wait 24 hours.Day 2 after 24 hours feed your starter again this time with both 90 grams of flour and 90 grams of water. Use a scale for all measurements!! Mix good and cover again with the silicone lid. Wait 24 hours. After this feeding my starter was sitting at the 250ml line.Day 3 I woke up to check my starter and holy heck she had already rose to 500ml and still going strong. She smelled amazing and had lots of bubbles. Let it continue to rise. A few hours later, I checked and she was up to 750ml the highest peak and super bubbly. It more than tripled!! I waited and let it fall back down. Once it was fallen, I transferred all of the starter into a new jar and washed my starter jar thoroughly. Then I discarded all but 90 grams of starter into the clean jar. Then fed 90 & 90 of water and flour. Stirred and covered. The discard was about 200 grams. You can put it in the fridge and use it for discard recipes, throw it out, or turn it into a second jar of active starter. If you do choose to keep it as a second starter make sure to feed it before you put it in the fridge. You’re going to cover your starter jar and let it sit out on the counter continuing to feed it and discard until your ready to bake. I will say last night when I fed it again, my starter rose much faster, it more then doubled and had already fallen when I woke up this morning. It’s So bubbly, healthy and thriving. She smells great. I can’t wait to bake with her. Once I do bake I’ll come back and update my review with those results. But I have a feeling everything will turn out great and delicious.PS make sure to name your starter! Mines named Dumbledough lol

Didn’t work for me!
Didn’t grow, I think it was because my house is too cold.
