PERFECT! for my application
FR4 Epoxy-Sheet Resin Glass-Fiber Insulation-Plate - 335x300x3.0mmThis thin, high-strength, very rigid glass-reinforced resin plate solidly supports a heavy security camera with floodlights mounted on my garage. The garage’s aluminum siding is far too weak to support the 2-1/2 pound camera/floodlight, and, since the siding’s strakes tilt out from the garage’s 1x10 wood structure, they can’t be sandwiched behind the camera’s mounting base without collapsing into the underlying air space. My solution to that problem incorporates this composite plate into a fabricated panel that angles out to meet the back surface of the aluminum siding, accepts the camera’s mounting screws, and transfers the camera’s weight to the wood structure of the building. The project took some head-scratching and a good bit of fiddling, but the result is satisfyingly neat, strong, and weatherproof. Permanent too.My original idea was to use 1/16” sheet aluminum for the mounting plate, but I wasn’t confident it would be stiff enough. Spotting this engineered composite on Amazon was the eureka moment. It was just perfect for my application. I jig sawed the perimeters with a combination blade and drilled holes using carbide bits at moderate speed. Two-part slow-cure epoxy formed very strong attachments for necessary standoffs and threaded fasteners. (I prepped surfaces with acetone and coarse sandpaper.)This material met my particular needs SO well that it brought a good deal of pleasure to the project. Note to self - and to anyone who has read this far: Get this stuff when a situation calls for sheet material that’s really rigid and strong, waterproof, chemically and thermally stable, affordable… light, and good looking.

Perfect for 3D printing bed
Perfect for use as an adhesion layer over a heated bed for a 3D printer.Excellent PLA adhesion at 60C; and releases with no effort once cooled back to 30C.Note that you will need a touch probe (not inductive) for accurate bed leveling; and that if you need to hacksaw the panel to fit your bed; make sure to wear a dust mask, and saw wet to keep the fiberglass dust down.

Great for printing PA
I like printing PA, but I've struggled mightily with proper adhesion. Mostly due to laziness, I waited a long time to try this well-known fix. Now that I have, I do wish I'd done it a long time ago. If anything, my prints stick almost too well, but holding them up to an AC vent or even a fan generally makes them release pretty reliably without breaking things. They also keep a pretty good finish even when using a metal tool to pop parts off. I like it. WIsh they'd make them in a 250mm size. Mine's a bit small for my Bambu printer, so I have to manually level the bed, but not a huge deal considering the benefits. I'd like to suggest to the seller that he offer them in a size that fits BambuLab printers as they're pretty popular and the right size would be an attractive selling point for a growing number of potential customers. 4 stars, because of this one small oversight.

holding a fuel filter next a marine diesel engine
Cut to fit as a mounting point on my power boat in the engine compartment, to hold a Racor fuel filter. It is located about 8 inches from the engine block. Has held up well for at least twenty hours of run time.

Good material
Good material but I wish there was a way to buy more at a better cost. The price is too high for production use.
