Don't have to use it much, but my son keeps it in his clarinet case. No issues with leaking, and it's also easy to apply.

Should have read the reviews before ordering. The box was missing the metal tip applicator. Probably as important as the oil itself. Several reviews also said they were missing the applicator tip. Made in China so your kind of screwed. I hope you read this before buying. Try another brand of oil. Or use a ******* toothpick like I will have to use.

Keys only travel a small distance but they do need proper lubrication. This is a very light weight oil, designed for key joints. Resist the urge to over oil your mechanisms. There is a needle topper that you will find very useful is ‘dropping’ oil on the exact spot it’s needed. Wood does like oil, but outside the key work it just attracts dust. When not in use, keep the oil capped. This should reduce or delay oxidation which degrades oil over time.

Somehow in my 9 years of playing clarinet when I was younger, I never knew to use key oil. I just picked it back up again, and so I tried out this key oil. I wasn't sure where to apply it, so I looked up a Youtube video that showed putting a drop at each joint. It had a bottle with a smaller tip, which would be good on this bottle to be able to be more exacting. However, it worked fine.I had to wipe small amounts of excess oil off the wood, but it didn't drip and came off well and wasn't messy. I would like to know what kind of oil it is, which isn't labeled on the product, and a smaller bottle would be good since it's needed so rarely.Overall seems like a good product. My keys are moving well, not sticking or making excess noise.

I ordered this oil to use on my son's squeaky key on his saxophone. I am not a saxophone repair expert so please consider that as I share my thoughts on this product. I only needed to put a small amount of oil on his saxophone and then press the moving key several times to work it in. The note that was squeaking no longer squeaked. The tube has a nice end that makes it easy to apply the oil to small spots without making a mess. The oil tube is small, so it was easy to store in my son's instrument case.As far as I can tell it worked great and I would use it again without any concerns.

This is very good key oil and worked great on my Selmer Mark VII saxophone that I've had and played for 40+ years since high school.
