Bought this in early March 2024 and have had nothing but trouble with this unit. It has been nothing short of a nightmare to get to work correctly. It's a shame the quality is so awful because it looks amazing and should have been a great replacement for the original equipment. The instruction book is no help at all. The screen changes settings without any prompting. The worst part is the USB connection (which is buried in the actual unit behind the dash) is defective and drains the phone while plugged in. DO NOT buy this unit.

It was a little difficult to set up, but with a few you tube videos we got it figured out. Air play was also a little hard to figure out. Love how big it is!

To install this radio it’s pretty tedious process. I made many errors but thankfully most of it you can figure out as you go. Be very delicate with motherboard when you switch it over. One thing I learned is that if your truck doesn’t have climate control in the original then you won’t have the climate control on the onscreen buttons. I had the 4inch 2016 XLT, just about has factory as it gets. You’ll only have the manual controls below. I’ve seen complaints about the screen brightness but it’s not that bad. Obviously a screen will have glare if the sun shines directly on it. The wiring only took me maybe 30 minutes to figure out . In total installation was a long but self explanatory process. I wish the instructions were better l, but I guess it is how it is. It does make my interior look really cool. Bluetooth and everything works good. You can even screen mirror with a usb and an IPhone. I definitely do not regret buying as of now. It’s durability will be the true test.

So many issues, no instructions or a web reference for instructions, screen never turned on, conversion kit doesn’t fit, unit appearance is good but equipment, tech support, lack of instructions, and more make this item to be an scam. Do not buy this and Amazon should remove this item from the site.

So after a few weeks of installing it have a problems with since day one. MI/H gauge doesn’t read.The music app you can’t delete has 5 songs programmed to it only. No need for themCarPlay doesn’t let you edit settings. To not show messages or calls from appear from incoming or reading out loud.When listening to music on some what high volume it tones out and doesn’t sound clear.One more issue with the volume but can’t recall at the moment.
