So I do like these brushes. I have bought a few sets of the plastic needle ones. Only because my kids keep walking away with them. So I have one for each bathroom and then the car and our to go bag as well. I love them. This single brush though I bought because I didn't need another small one and I thought it would be the same but it wasn't. It is metal prongs and I actually love it. I feel like it works better for me. I like the plastic ones yes, still will always use. But I will be keeping this one in my bathroom for me to use. I like how it brushes and feels when brushing. I have straight hair that always likes to knot up and these get the knots for me.

I got this brush because I wanted something wide and sturdy for my naturally coarse, long hair. I also got the Tymo Ring straightener but it dries my hair out some when I use it. This brush helps to keep my hair's natural oil, soft, and manageable feel when I use it after the straightener, and with daily brushing before styling my hair. I have the square Conair Salon Detangling Brush for when I skip the straightening altogether. Both brushes work great. They are sturdy and comfortable brushes for daily use. The price was awesome. I have been using Conair products for over 20 years, and they never disappoint. Yes, I would recommend them for gifts.

My fiancé and daughter loves theirs! They use it everyday and it’s still in perfect condition! Worth buying for a gift! They said it’s comfortable when they brush their hair.
