Did NOT work
Describes itself as "No Mess" and that it works on polyester and nylon fabrics in 30mins to 1hour. Firstly, it's very, very messy and it smells extremely TOXIC. I kept all windows and doors open even though it was freezing outside, because the smell seemed dangerous. I kept it boiling away for an hour and a half just to make sure that it would work, but after all that mess and all that time and money, it didn't dye the material at all. I was trying to cover a small area on some polyester trousers. It did not work. I would NEVER buy this product again. The only thing it died was my ceramic pot and luckily the surrounding area was tiles, so I could clean it off. Also you need a VERY big pot if you're going to dye something like trousers or a top. I thought it was something that I could stick in a bucket for a day, but as you have to boil it the whole time, you need a pot over heat.

Good dye
My wife stained her running shorts with fake tan. We bought this to dye them black. The dye worked well but we did need to dye it twice

Turned a tan dress dark brown… but not black
Used this to see if I could turn my tan 95% polyester dress black. After being on a stove for 60 minutes with continued stirring it turned it a lovely dark (almost black) brown. The whole process was extremely easy, but does leave your arms a little sore! For a full transformation to black I would recommend using 2 packets or doing the process twice. I will also advise against hanging it over the bath to dry as it left some staining which took a few rounds of overnight bleaching to resolve.

Excellent dye
The product comes with clear, step by step instructions. Follow these to the letter and the finished result is excellent! Dyed a dress and shoes from white to charcoal/granite grey, these were 100% polyester and took up the dye brilliantly. Unfortunately the process smells like burning plastic and be very careful of any splashes - this dye is very potent and permanent!!

Does not work on parasol material.
Does not work on parasol material.I have followed the instruction. The dye has only slightly tinted the material rather than full colour.

IDye
They have sent me IDye poly instead of IDye for natural fabrics. The seller resolved the problem fast.IDye for natural fabrics does the job if you follow all the instructions. Sometimes the stitches do not take the the dye for natural fabrics, as they may be made of polyester then it's necessary to use IDye Poly.IDye for natural fabrics can be used in the washing machine. After the cycle with the dye I load only dark clothes for washing and in just 2 cycles the staining from the rubber seal washes away leaving the washing machine clean, so. no worries that the dye may ruin the washing macine..IDye poly should be used for hand dyeing on the stove only. If you put it to the washing machine it will not work..And the last one, ..if you need more info and feedback about how to use the dyes, go online and you will find plenty of videos and photos of the results.

Harmful to skin - don’t use on clothes
Awful product, all instructions followed - yes it did dye the shirt I bought black, but after washing it with detergent as instructed - it also left dye all over my skin! I then tried re-washing it to make sure it wasn’t still leaving colour on my skin, but after the second wash it was a blue shirt again!Awful product, harmful to skin, doesn’t last past 2 washes and a total, total waste of money - avoid!!
