I think pine wood is not as hard as another type of wood.

Though the product arrived late,damaged packaging,irregular shapes about which I had reviewed earlier but from the nature of the work I brought it for I give it 5 star.Unlike the darker mdfs this one needs very few passes while cutting with a laser machine.engraving is also good as it is light in colour.The photos above are for the box I made from a single sheet.Thank you!This review is not for the product but fraud on part of packaging..less items sent.Amazon is helpless and i have to bear the heat.If i return i can't finish the job i had purchased it for.So in a dilemma have to accept the fact of receiving 5 pcs less from this company. Beware folks.Dont buy from rise n shine

The item was as per description. The packaging was poor, delivered with torn outer plastic sheet cover. If the material was stained or damaged the purchase would have become a waste.
