Installed the first one in March. I had to use the dash pad as my dashboard was not flat. It attached well and left no gaps between it and the dashboard. The phone holder fit on the pad, and has stayed there since. It works very well, seems pretty rugged. Easy to put your phone in, keep it there securely, and remove. For the second one, I also had to use the dash pad. For some reason, they changed the dash pad. It does not contour to the dash as well as the first, leaving a little gap. I think it will be ok, but not as seamless looking as the first one. The rest of the holder appears to be the same as the first one.

I've tried many phone holder and alot of people I know have tried many phone holders but this is the first one that actually works amazing! It's not cheaply made you get one product but have 3 different choices for placement! Right now I have it in the car vent and it so amazing how strong the hold is! DEFINITELY AN AMAZING PRODUCT! And will definitely be recommending to others!

The dashmount is sturdy. It held my phone in its bulky cover well for at least 11 months.However, as the temperatures surged due to change of seasons, dashboard mount lost its grip, and it just gave in. The glue pad is no longer, strong enough to support my phone. Too bad, as I really like to have the oppprtunity to turn my phone horizontally and record my rides sometimes. My backup is the vent mount now. The vent mount installation was piece of cake and it holds steadly. I have no complains about vent mount. Now im looking to get another dash or window mount, strong enough to withheld hot temperatures
