Nice oil
Easy to apply, dries quite quickly and smells nice! A little goes a long way with this and it’s a good quality oil. Brings out the grain of the wood and gives a nice finish. Works well and a good price. Would buy again.

Potential to catch fire when on cloth
This product is very good and has left my sideboard in great condition. But I made a huge mistake and really want to highlight this to others.I started in the morning and stupidly left the rag I used near the sideboard to redo later.About 9 hours later I become aware of a strong smell and thought I had knocked the bottle over. On checking it was actually the rag I had used red hot and smoking.I am now aware that this could have combusted and I am just glad I didn’t start in the afternoon, as otherwise this may have happened overnight and the rag caught fire whilst I was sleeping. It was just one rag but not smoothed out which I gather is the issue. It was my fault I agree, but I wouldn’t want this to happen to anyone else. There is a warning but I think there should be a much clearer warning about this on the bottle. I also do not think it should encourage the use of one rag as this encourages storing for 24 hours.(But if you use more than one rag and store this is even more of a fire hazard).I gather what I should have done was immediately soak in water before then disposing in plastic bag.Yes it will waste cloths but so much better than causing a fire. Please take this seriously and heed this warning and the one on the bottle.Nb this is for all linseed oil, not unique to this brand

Top quality
Really impressed with this oil. Use is on loads of my carving projects. Recommended cooking wood with it in the oven to add a browning to it and ensure it sealing in the wood. Brilliant product, would highly recommend.

Great product at a good price.
Bought this to coat a table I made for the home office. Really easy to apply, in multiple thin coats. I'd recommended doing in a shed or garage if possible as it does smell a bit until it dries. Also Boiled linseed oil can set fire spontaneously, so make sure you store the bottle and dispose of any used rags properly. This stuff is also really good at restoring black plastic car trim, they go a deep dark black again and its been on for months with no sign of dulling plastics yet. Of course test a small inconspicuous area first.

Seems to work well
Used the oil for an outside pine garden table. I gave it two good coats of the oil. I rubbed the first one in thoroughly and later applied a second coat. Both top and bottom surface were done. Although early doors, the rain is clearly not penetrating the timber - I am happy to recommend this one.

Fantastic stuff. Great value and easy to use.
This is fantastic stuff. I have been using it on furniture which is sort of ‘raw’ wood - obviously it’s been treated etc, but it’s not highly varnished or anything like that. Some was dried up garden furniture, which has come back a treat. Another was an expensive oak dining table which, after ten years, was showing signs of looking a bit dry and had a water mark on it. Also a chest of drawers and a mirror frame. This is luscious stuff and the wood soaks it up and looks vibrant again - maybe in three coats. I’m very happy with it.
