Fantastic kit

This is a really classy build! It's also great fun - a little fiddly in parts, but I guess it is a cello (sorry, I couldn't resist!!!!). For anyone into their musical instruments, this is a lovely gift!

Fancy and easy to assemble even for someone who doesn't have any experience. Pretty clear instructions and a nice way to spend free time. I've always wanted to try my luck assembling my very own music box, and this is the best start. Besides, it makes a pretty nice decoration.

On the whole its a good item. As this was my first try at something like this. I found some of the smaller wooden parts fragile. Which I broke trying to remove and place in the right place. As there wasn't a spare for this in the set. The whole thing is wasted. Not the fault of the maker just me being heavy handed and finding the instructions not as clear as they could be. I will in the future have another go and get another set. Make sure you have a lot of space and time to build. Also if you are making one for the first time of this type of wooden build. Do your first one and have a you tube video going as well. This will give a better idea how things are put together. After that I think any future models based on this knowledge will be very helpful. Oh also the set comes with a wax stick and this helps with movement. Oh the whole take time and read instructions is the key.

Just a little difficult due my eye problems, but a well designed working model. The laser cutting of the components and the quality of the materials is excellent.

Good quality puzzle. Some of the mechanism kept coming adrift when assembling further parts so didn’t work. Eventually I sorted it - my incompetence I fear - however the music box works well and the piano keys move up and down. I enjoyed making it.
