Value for money
The solar fly zapper has been hanging in the gazebo on the deck for a couple of weeks now, and it works great. I much appreciate that it's poison free, so it is not a danger to birds, and that it runs on solar energy.Right now it's still early days of spring, not exactly the season for the bug invasion, but the zapper keeps the early arrivals nicely away. The assembly was super easy, after securing the solar panel and the fly killer in their place, it was just plugging one cable into another and flipping a switch, and done. Ever since, the black light turns on at every sunset, and the battery that was charged during the day lasts 4-6 hours at least, even after an overcast, rainy day.The plastic it is built of seems durable, it's already survived some strong wind. The solar panel has a good size, got holes for screws or other fixing method, and shows no signs of rust yet.I am very happy with this purchase, the product is a good value for money.

Good bug Zapper
Bought this as recently moved to countryside and the amount of bugs and flies was crazy, used it for a little bit now and it has brought down the amount of bugs in the house dramatically, has meant i've been able to sit outside without being bitten constantly.multiple ways to charge which is good, little solar panel is good and saves electricity, Not sure if you can leave the solar panel out, personally im bringing it in every day just to make sure. Not tried running the thing on battery alone yet though so cant comment on the length of battery life

Would not Recommend
It’s stopped working after being used about 5 times. It won’t turn on and doesn’t seem to charge any way I try. This lamp doesn’t work during daylight hours. Which is what I bought it for, as that’s when I am particularly harassed by insects. However I feel it should have been mentioned that it has a light sensor on top that has to be covered in order to use the zapper during the day. Seems kind of pointless tbh

I think this one is best in class
We needed a new bug zapper with a longer cable (to make hanging easier) and we saw this one with even more features. The fact it is solar chargeable is a real bonus. Being USB-C mains is even better as it can be used with any length standard cable and is better for storing away as others don’t have detachable cables and are bulkier. The colour is a nice UV blue/purple and not a bright blue like some other models. It makes no sound but the tray at the bottom shows that It’s already working very effectively! The solar charging is quick and the battery lasts well into the night. I like that it has light sensor modes or the option to run it all the time. It’s robustly made but not too heavy so it’s easy to hang and the design also means the top has enough of ‘lip’ that you can hang off the top on some fences etc. Probably not recommended but it worked for us.A real winner is that it’s waterproof. It’s been left out in the recent torrential rains and it’s still working fine. For outdoor use the cable is huuuge (about 3.5m) and, as it's universally USB C compatible or solar powered, this is probably the most versatile bug zapper you can buy at similar price to those that aren’t chargeable, waterproof, hangable, or solar powered. It’s a good investment for the summers to come!

It would have been 5* but......
MY biggest disappointment is: It did not come with a Lantin hanging arm or any support bracket for the Solar Panel, so that's why a 2* rating, but it Works Very Well, and I am very Happy with the way it works. It's a shame about the Brackets.

Sleek design
Brilliant sleek design, can’t wait to put this up, works as it should, and comes with a mini solar panel, it’s got a low power consumption so the panel should just be right to keep this thing running, it’s got two options day and night and I’ve tested it to 5 hours on a single charge which is absolutely great, might even take this camping with me
