Not that I expected something of a poor quality....given price point.....but was blown away at how good it actually was.Been a Serengeti user for over 12yrs.....but couldn't get model that I had prior.Decided to buy something cheaper in the interim.I am so pleased I am now going to buy another one of this same item for my other vehicle.Quality of lens, frame and the look of it....I am not disappointed at all.

I bought these thinking that they'd be a little better than the $5-10 frames others are selling, but was unfortunately disappointed.The main problem is in the frame - I had these for just over a month, with limited use (winter), and the frame hinge started breaking. It now can bend the wrong way as the small "spring-like" piece that prevents the frame from overextending was badly manufactured. I even tried repairing it, but it's a lost cause.This is due to bad/faulty engineered pieces, and I would return it if it were worth the hassle.Also, since I know a lot about optics - while the Polarizing lens is polarized, it is not uniformly coated, which results in a slight distortion in the lenses that is noticeable when you tilt your head up/down while looking at a single point. It's not a complete show-stopper, but I guess what did I expect from a cheap brand (that advertises itself as "American", but still says "China" on the frame)

For the price you can't beat them I have Ray Bans, Maui Jims, Serenghetti, among others... no need to spend the $ on the experience brands anymore. These are just as good to me for a fraction of the price. I have a pretty big head and atb1st I thought they looked a bit small on my head but totally got used to them. Just buy them, of you don't like them what do you have to lose, just return them. You can't go wrong by giving them a shot though, can you?

Gents... buy these and take a look in a mirror. Out of the box they look really small. They provide decent sun protection IF you wear the directly against your face. They are super lightweight, but honestly dont seem that comfortable.
