I could not be happier with this product.
Three days before Christmas I was building a PC for my nephew on a Z490 platform. I auto-updated the bios, and the PC never re-booted. The motherboard had bricked. It also turned out that there was no bios flashback on that MSI motherboard.This adapter arrived NEXT DAY. I was able to find a pinout to the bios chip, and re-flash the chip externally.It saved me about $300 and a day of driving around in the snow looking for a Z490 motherboard.

Saved my 1000$ GFX card! Worth 10x the cost
Used it to quickly and easily recover my 4080 super from a terrible bios flash was kind of hard to decipher the internet is your friend but totally worth it all

AMAZING value, but no instructions
This saved me almost $700 bringing several devices back from the dead. I use this to backup and reflash SPI flash BIOS chips on motherboards. Everything i needed was included EXCEPT the software and instructions. Had to google to find instructions and download links after looking for a model number on the USB programmer. Cant believe this was only $10!!!

Needed modification to program all keys lost in Toyota
I reprogrammed the chip while it was still connected to the ECM in my 2005 Toyota Highlander. I had lost all the keys and this enabled me to use the key I cut by getting the numbers off of the door lock. It was a bit complicated modifying the device but I was able to follow some tutorials I found online and I'm glad it's all done now.

1 Star – Completely Non-Functional. Waste of Time.
This CH341A programmer arrived looking fine, but it was totally dead on arrival. Tried it on two separate PCs, multiple USB ports, correct drivers, and multiple flashing tools (AsProgrammer, CH341A Programmer v1.34) — nothing worked.The system wouldn’t detect it, and every flashing app returned a “Device Not Connected” or “CH347(-1)” error, which means the programmer itself isn’t initializing at all.I even tested it without the SOIC8 clip connected to rule out shorting issues — still nothing. LED lights up, but it doesn’t communicate at all.Based on how many forums mention this same problem, it looks like this seller has serious quality control issues.Don’t waste your time like I did. Look for a better-reviewed CH341A kit or spend a little more for one with proven reliability.
