Great replacement fuse
Worked great ! Was able to replace the fuse in my wife’s Insta-Pot and now it’s as good as new instead of throwing it away.

Very useful for fixing our pressure cooker.
We made the mistake of using our pressure cooker with too little liquid. This resulted in a total failure - the pressure cooker was not starting any longer, nor displaying anything. I was lucky that I searched online for folks with the same fate and found that it is likely due to a thermal fuse. This led me to this product. As someone who is not totally unfamiliar with a soldering iron (but uses it only about once per year), I found the fix relatively easy to do - remove the old fuse which is mounted close to the inner pot, slide the protecting fabric away, cut away the fuse and solder a new one to it. Looking back, definitely one of the easier electrical fixes that can be done which saves you a lot of money! After doing that, put everything back together and the cooker is working again. Even after two months of usage, it still works flawlessly.

Works
I replaced this in my instant pot. I did have to weld it on with some flux and a heat iron. As long as you know what you are doing, it was an easy fix and now my instant pot works.

Must have for broken Instant Pot
Had an Instant Pot 8qt for a couple years when eventually I would not turn on. Like plugged in and had no sounds or lights on the main control screen. After some googling and Youtube research, found out that the main fuse for it was most likely the culprit. While the process for removing and replacing the old fuse from the Instant Pot might not be viable for every casual consumer, I was able to do it since I had access to shrink tube, solder, and soldering iron. If you like to tinker with stuff like that, this should be an easy fix for you.At such a cheap price for two of the fuses, rather than replacing the pressure cooker altogether, it was an easy purchase. Hopefully this fuse lasts longer than the oem did.

Only Needed One
I only needed one and for the price I would have been happy with one. The second one will get lost at some point and I'll order again. Replacement is pretty easy. If you can wire an outlet, you can do this fix. It is as simple as removing the bottom of the pressure cooker and replacing the inline fuses. I spent more time trying to figure out how to remove the bottom of the pressure cooker than anything. Otherwise its a 10 minute job. The pressure cooker fired right up after install.
