I used this on my rear window of my Jeep to block headlights of vehicles. The trick to hanging this material is to put the male velcro on the window. Then after cutting to size the material apply the female velcro to the male velcro on the window. Then when you are ready to apply the material simply push material onto the female velcro it will have the sticky side facing you so the material will stick onto it. This is the easiest way to do this. Foolproof way you cant go wrong. I struggled for a while until i thought of this.

I live in an apartment where the sun beams into the top of my windows in the afternoon. The building blocks it when sun is setting. It’s easy to set up (20 min max) IF you know how to measure and cut!! I lightly ironed over the lines on the black side on LOW setting. I measured my windows and cut accordingly. Per window I put 4 stickies on top and attached the blackout sheet. I then carefully rolled it up straight and attached 2 stickies on the sheet so the window can be visible on cooler days. No it’s not the most attractive but I have blinds and curtains that cover most of it. It completely helped darken my room compared to without. If you want completely dark it will work for all windows.( I did half of mine) For the price it’s worth it until I can afford a $400 portable ac unit.

Holy dark bedroom, Batman. I cannot sleep with even a sliver of light. I had new windows installed and the previous method no longer fit, so I bought these. Lightweight and easy to cut. I also purchased magnets and metal discs to attached to the window and curtain for easier on/off. Only downside? THE SMELL. Good lawdddd, it’s a fish factory. The smell is dissipating, but it’s gnarly when you pull it out of the bag.

I bought these because my husband works midnights. These are great at keeping the light out and helping to keep the room cooler!

Lo que dice del 100% es real… Tapa totalmente la luz que entra a la habitación, aunque parece ser delgada es buena, lo único es que al momento de instalarla, deben tener cuidado porque no es como dice en la descripción de que puedes despegarla y pegarla nuevamente, ya que tuve que moverla y de una vez se llevó toda la pintura… Entonces ahora quedé con el cuarto oscuro como quería, pero me toca pintarlo nuevamente
