I have only had them out since around 6 pm. At a little after midnight my son comes running to me to let me know that there is a hoard of roaches scrambling. The smell is strong but it has brought them out. I hope they are dead when I go to bed. PS: never invite people into your home that bring infected items because it is hell getting roaches out

I have a pest control technician that comes every other month to spray both inside and outside of my apartment; to spray spiders, roaches, silverfish etc.. On 9/24/23 I received the product and hung the balls in all of the rooms of my apartment. I hung 3 in the kitchen. They look like and smell like moth balls, very strong scent. This morning 10/8/23 there was a spider on the leg of the kitchen table, where earlier it was there before. Then several hours later, I saw another spider in the kitchen, this time on top of the kitchen table. And later that same evening a moth was flying around in the back bedroom. On 10/9/23 I believe it was the same moth flying around in the same bedroom, which I still haven't caught up with it to get rid of yet. On the box it states this also applies to repelling mice, ants, spiders, moths, and other bugs. I would think if the product would respell the bugs, it would deter them from entering my unit. Product not working as expected.

Perhaps user error on this - as I might have not read too deep. The product caught me at Peppermint Oil - which sounded like a pleasant way to deter cockroaches. The product seems to be working BUT these smell like MOTH BALLS. The smell has seemed to die down after a week or we have just gotten used to it. I had to up my wall scent game just to try and neutralize the smell...If that is something that you can tolerate or get used to, this is your keep the roaches away gem!

I bought this keeping in mind that peppermint, and essential oils have worked to keep away roaches. The German roaches that I now live with don’t care about these stinky spheres and now my apartment smells of eucalyptus and old people anu’s it’s so bad, this repels people more than roaches. At first I was ok with it smelling of eucalyptus but after some time it just smells like a port a potty and no amount of perfume or essential oils or incense stops it. At this point the roaches can have the house 🙈
