Everyone's a big kid with a spirograph.
After never getting one as a child and always putting it on my Christmas list, I decided to be a big kid and buy myself a set as a Christmas present to myself. It has more pieces than you could imagine in every shape and size with parts that link together so you can make oval tracks, heart shapes - the possibilities are endless !Whenever the nieces or nephews come round they are now so quiet as we all sit and play together around the table - I can leave them engrossed after 10 minutes and have a decent natter to the relatives with only an occasional "Can you help me" from the youngest.Then, they get to colour in the designs they have drawn and I even bought some small cheap frames so they could take their new works of art home. You only get a red, blue & green pen in the set so it's worth buying a set of coloured ink pens such as "Inkjoy"It seems no matter what age you are, every one loves spirograph - it's a timeless drawing tool that everybody wants to play with. This set has everything you need and is great value for money. The pieces are quite robust but if you apply strong pressure they would break - just like a ruler, but if you just use them as intended they will be around for future generations to have fun with,

Great fun, but mind you’re using it somewhere comfortable and holding your pen correctly- I got a blister on the side of my finger!

Nice game but it could be much better!!!
It can keep even an adult busy for a lot of hours.You can make very nice drawings but it needs a lot of practise and patience to make no mistakes.You must use a lot of putty. No holes for pins.Some of the "super" parts are not easy to connect together due to the cheap plastic. Its annoying because some are too flimpsy and others cannot even be connected(too small or too large holes?!)Also the drawings have small imperfections in the parts where the super pieces are connected.The pens are ok. Not thrilled and only three colors. After not a lot of uses, they do not draw good anymore.The gold wheel feels very nice.The case is very plasticy inside but it does a good job of keeping the wheels organised.

Tons of fun
Tons of fun-interesting both for my 7 year old kid and his mother. Practically limitless combinations and excellent instructions included in the kit.
