Criminally underrated!
What an amazing manga. I think people will be put off by the nudity but it really doesn't effect the story. It's hilarious. I watched the anime and had to see what was beyond it, and boy I'm in love with this manga. It's 400 pages in this volume and I read it all in one sitting. I'm never usually that concentrated. It's about 5 boys that get put into an all girls school, not knowing what they signed up for. Within the first day they get caught peeping in the girls changing rooms and get destroyed by the "shadow student council" its so funny and unexpected. You never know where this manga will go and that's what I love about it.

One of my all-time favorite comedy manga
I just finished reading this whole series so if you are new i believe this review can give you enough information about the series and as to whether or not this is for you.First and foremost let's get the big elephant in the room out of the way, if you have a problem with lewdness in manga, be it pure nudity, talk of lewd acts, or anything on the topic at all, just steer clean of this manga right now while you can, it's not for you and wasn't MADE for you, alright? so please don't get all annoyed and go "Oi this got plenty o' skin in it mate, it's the patriarchy innit!" or whatever you people say.As for everyone else, this might be one of the greatest revivals of slapstick i've ever seen, but also some of the greatest twists i've seen in a long long while, this manga is not scared of going places most ordinary mangas wouldn't even dare, and is really pushing it in terms of almost getting censored, certain panels in some volumes BORDERS on soft-core hentai and i'm surprised this manga even made it to the west at all with the levels of political correctness that have come back full-force the last decade or so, anyways here is my summary:The art is filled with lovely detail and seems photorealistic at times, which gives the comedic scenes a lot more impact than they would have otherwise and i found myself laughing out loud with every single volume i bought, this could also be because i bought the volumes periodically and there was a lot of time between each making the comedy less stale, i think if you binge read these they wont have the same impact, maybe read one volume every second or third day or so to give your brain some rest from the lunacy these books are filled with. The story in this series is also rather basic, guys who enroll at a seemingly all-girl's school are caught being lewd, they get thrown into the school's prison and have to work their way out or escape, although due to how this series works, i can't actually say much more considering how this story takes unexpected turns, i can promise you it gets good though. You should be able to finish each volume in about 1 to about 1 and a half hours, unless you take your time reading and savor each volume, the pages have a standard thickness to them and didn't feel like they would rip unless i was being really careless, if there is one negative i have to say is that these should have been released as hardcover editions as the spines on these softcover versions are bound to crack at some point with multiple reads, that is my one negative, i'd be willing to pay the extra cash if these would be more durable. And that's that really, with my one negative being about the softcover release's spines, i can't do anything else but rate this series a solid 5 out of 5, a 10/10 or a 100 out of a 100, you get the point, this is master class in the genre and i HIGHLY recommed this series to anyone with a lewd sense of humor.TL;DR: Too soft for Fakku, but would give your gran' a heart attack.

Superb
I've read American comics all my life and they are pretty awful at the moment so I thought I would try Manga and see what all the fuss was about. I've tried about 10 so far and I can't say I'm much impressed...except for one - Prison School!!Art - The facial expressions on the characters alone tell you so much about them and what they are really thinking. The artist seems to put so much effort into each panel...I'm no artist so I can't begin to describe how he injects so much into the art in his attempt to convey feelings.Oh, and he also writes it as well - The writing is sublime...at times hilarious...and others deeply intense. The Manga is very adult and I don't just mean the Ecchi (or whatever its called) which is in truth there in abundance. The premise for the story is very simple. No-one has a huge two-handed battle sword for chopping of the heads of demon etc. However, that just seems to allow the author to go deeper into the actual characters which are 'Games of Throwns' like (yes - I am actually comparing it to GOT). Each character is a mixture of good AND bad, each has their own hang ups etc. Be warned though its very slow driven and it takes several books before the real depth of it emerges.Lastly I just want to praise whoever is translating this, so many Manga have sections which don't make sense and I think this is because the translation is just too straightforward. Whoever is translating this has put in MUCH more effort. Its only when you find yourself laughing at the author's clever use of wordplay that you realise 'hmm...maybe that's actually the translater'If you don't like the first book....don't get the next...but buy the first, because film, book or comic, this is up there with the very best.
