Still holding together three months later.
Never pay a appliance repair company to fix your appliance. Go to Amazon buy the part fix it yourself. It’s so easy. As far as the product it works it doesn’t leak and it’s been holding for about three months.

Do not buy - lasted 5 months
Updated review:Drain pump replacement is a regular chore for LG washers. This was the 3rd one I'd bought: The first lasted a year and a half, the second (an OEM part) lasted six and a half years, and this one lasted 5 months. I could tell when I installed that it was shoddy, and the short lifespan bears that out.Original review 6 months ago:Don't buy unless you have a dremel and don't mind cutting up other parts of your washer to make it fit.I bought this drain pump over all the others because it had 1 day shipping, and the spring expansion tool, and the package was slightly cheaper (~$2) than buying the spring expansion tool separately. But I regret buying it - in order to make it fit, I had to use a dremel to trim some parts of the white plastic shield that covers the motor (which means I may need a new plastic shield next time I replace the drain pump). And it was a bunch of extra hassle which was definitely not worth the $10 savings over the OEM version. The photos show the differences between the OEM pump and this pump. Also, the quality of the pump doesn't look great - there are some gaps in the casing and a couple cracks that don't look ideal for a part that I want to last for 4+ years in a wet environment. I'm giving it 2 stars because we're 2 weeks in and it's working fine.On the plus side, the spring expansion tool is awesome - it's sturdy, should last forever, and make the "removing/installing the spring" parts of the job a breeze.

Super noise !! Sounds like it will not last..
So I bought this pump 2 weeks ago. As soon as I installed it i tested it and noticed that it was much louder than the original. It just didn't sound right. So here it is 2 weeks later about 6 loads later and now it won't pump the water out of the machine. I thought that this was going to be a bargain fix but I guess you get what you pay for. I guess that I will be buying a OEM pump and trying that. Lastly i also had to modify the pump cover with a Dremel to make it fit...

It’ll last three weeks!
Installed this pump three weeks ago. It is now dead and not pumping anymore. Started out noisier than original, then got worse, then quit. Do NOT expect this pump to last. Go to another appliance part site and order the original manufacturer pump. Unless you like to take your washer apart multiple times for fun, don’t get this cheap crap!

Failed after 6 weeks.
The media could not be loaded. The pump failed after 6 weeks, same issue as original pump, impeller free spins on motor shaft (basically makes loud noise and doesn’t pump water). 6 weeks seems to be after the return period since I don’t see any option to do that.

Worked perfectly and saved a costly repair bill
When my washer pump went out after a year I sought help on the internet. A couple of videos later I ordered the new pump plus the special tool for securing a unique spring that seals the washer door. It was a job of medium complexity, probably not for the first time home repair candidate without some help, but in 30-minutes I had the part in and a month later the washer continues to work perfectly. I’m not an appliance repairman but I’m handy with tools and following directions. Had the machine still been under warranty I would have let the manufacturer handle it. Since it wasn’t, I had to try! Success saved a couple hundred dollars and a lot of time.
