I bought the One Green Bottle after looking at several other similar items. In the end I settled on this one because I wanted a strong and large capacity insulated bottle that would keep water cool on long hot days.The One Green Bottle exceeded my expectations, and really does keep a bottle full of water cool all day – I’ve done all day walks in temperatures of 30°C and the water was lovely and cool. I’ve not tried it with hot drinks, so I can’t comment on that side of things.The lid is wide, making it easy to put ice cubes in for really cold drinks, and cleaning out after use. The lid can sometimes be difficult to do up; the thread is coarse and easy to cross thread but just takes a little care. There is a silicone gasket for a watertight seal, and I didn’t experience any leaks in use.Some have commented on the ‘taste’ of the bottle, to me it’s completely neutral and I didn’t notice any flavour at all.The bottle is bulky, but hardly surprising with its 1Litre capacity and multi-walled construction, this does make it more awkward to carry and people with smaller hands might find it uncomfortable. In a bag or bottle holder though it’s fine.The finish is good, but probably easy to mar and dent – but it’s only a bottle and not an ornament!The good• Large capacity• Tough construction• Really does keep drinks coolThe bad• Quite large diameter• Lid sometimes awkwardOverall, I’m really pleased with this bottle, especially with its insulating qualities keeping water cool, it made some long summer walks a lot more pleasant.Definitely recommended.

I got tired of having to constantly refill my 500ml bottle. It was a nice bottle, but having to remember to fill it 4 times was becoming tiresome. Sometimes I would be so busy I wouldn't get around to drinking enough water only to cram in the evenings - not a good idea, not even for adults.I wanted a replacement that was at least 750ml and preferably was its natural colour. Inasmuch as I loved my bottle, and I have another one, the colour is likely to chip off and I didn't mind a metallic coloured bottle.I had a tough time deciding and decided that this was worth it cost-wise - no regrets. I actually drink even more water now thanks to this baby. I've put warm water in it and it does stay warm, but I haven't tried it for 12 hours. The only downside is that it will leak if the seal isn't on properly, but you won't know when you've got it on right, as I have discovered.

Nice product but the handle broke soon after purchase. Admittedly this was after dropping it but expected something sturdier

Keeps hot drinks hot and cold drinks cold. Easy to clean due to wide neck and it doesn't leak.

I have no idea if it's durable, leak proof - certainly seems easy to clean. Absolutely beautiful external design, minimalist, and lovely to have the covering on the metal. HOWEVER, the straw is terribly designed - could see that as soon as I opened it, and indeed, did not bring water to mouth in an even flow, either nothing, or spurted out - absolutely useless; would have used it for gym, car - but wouldn't want water all over me, or no water to drink. Extremely disappointing. REturned.

I'd tried several bottles before this one, but this is definitely the best I've found. It keeps water cold for hours on end, doesn't leak at all and it can take a beating. I highly recommended this brand.
