Great gummy, taste okay…
I have low iron and I’m nursing. I feel the difference when taking and also believe that by giving my body what it needs it’s helping maintain my milk supply. This is great that it has vitamin c because iron is best absorbed WITH vitamin c. Taste isn’t the best but I pair this with another gummy to drown it out.

Love Mary Ruth
It's really convenient when traveling since the liquid iron is suppose to stay in the fridge after opening. The only downside, I do taste the iron at the end but I think that's with all iron medicine. Absolutely love anything Mary Ruth!

The best tasting iron we’ve tried
I see a lot of comments about taste. Iron tastes like you licked a penny and it’s really hard to mask. But the grape flavor does a really good job compared to some other supplements my daughter and I have tried. Chew quick, think of grape soda and drink water afterwards to get rid of a slight aftertaste. They work great!

Very convenient, taste not bad as long as you have realistic expectations!
I nearly didn't order this based on the horrible reviews. This is an iron supplement that is meant to be chewed. It is going to taste metallic, that just needs to be expected. My useless superpower is my uncanny sense of smell, which gives me a strong sense of taste. I taste the grape in this while chewing, and I taste the lingering iron for a while after swallowing. Neither are particularly "good", but they're not awful either and I had no problem getting them down. The texture is a bit strange as others had mentioned, it's definitely not chewey like a gummy bear, honestly the best way I can describe it is if you imagine pumice in gummy form. Again, I have some eating sensory issues and did just fine with this. Mileage may vary depending on batch and your own taste buds, but if, like me, you need a portable source of iron thats not a liquid or pill, this is the best alternative. I prefer liquid iron but I eat a ton of dairy, it is my main source of protein, and finding that 4 hour window that is 2 hours after my last dairy product and 2 hours before my next varies depending on my work/commute/life schedule. Being able to bring this with me to take on the afternoon commute between lunch and dinner is a game changer, as the liquid iron has to be refrigerated and expires usually within the month of opening. I have chronically low ferritin levels even though I've been a very good (healthy) vegetarian for 23 years, but my body just doesn't absorb non-heme iron well, and I have insane blood loss with my absurdly heavy period every month, which got even worse after my pregnancy. My ferritin levels are now typically in the single digits. I'll come back in and update my review in a few months when I get my blood test again to see how much this supplement helps.

If You Like The Taste of Nickels.....
I have a REALLY hard time taking Iron supplements, due to the horrible taste and because it wreaks havoc on my stomach. In walks Mary Ruth's "Grape" flavored Iron Gummies, like a knight in shining armour.......or so I thought. They arrived late, and quite melted together, but I was able to free one of the gummies from the sticky mess, so that I could give it a whirl. Yuuuuuge mistake. Gross. It tasted worse than I ever remembered Iron supplements ever tasting. It was like chewing on a sticky nickel. PURE Iron. There is 0 grape flavor. There is nothing masking the dreadful taste of Iron, and I felt totally bamboozled by Mary Ruth. Strange, because all of her other gummies that I've tried have been pretty good. This one is definitely a 0 stars in my eyes.Updating this, as Mary Ruth's has reached out to me regarding my experience. Mary Ruth's offered a full refund, however Amazon has refunded me. Their customer service is excellent, and I will be a lifelong customer because of this.
