But for my son’s birthday I’ll update when he opens it
Seems like a cool idea for a gift especially my son who is into science and anything that you can rocket. I haven’t opened it yet it’s for his birthday next month but I will update when I do.

Design flaw
This doesn't work at all because the collar sits at the height of the o ring and pressure can't build in the bottle, it leaks out.

Nice idea, I think?
I missed that these were just the fins, not the launcher, so unfortunately, we probably won't be able to enjoy these at all. I simply do not have $40 to spend on a bottle rocket launcher, no matter how cool the idea seems. This set would only be a giftable item if you're prepared to spend $40 on the launcher, or the recipient already has one. Would have been a lot of fun to play with, I'm sure!

Easy to use if you are prepared.
You need your own 2 liter bottles! A plug, air tube, air flow for the plug & bike pump/ air pump.

Disappointing - Tail Fin Leaks
The associated launcher for this is amazing. Unfortunately, these fins fail to deliver. The cylinder that extends below the fins is not long enough to stay on the o-ring of the launcher once it gets above ~20 PSI on our bike pump. The bottles maybe go 75 feet in the air at 20 PSI with these fins. If you pump above that, the pressure pushes the assembly off of the launch pad and it loses its seal, any pressure, and all of the water. There’s another red product with several hundred reviews on Amazon. Using those fins our bottles are going several hundred feet in the air and able to be fully pressurized.

Leak
These leak the water out while trying to add the air.Returning.

Not what I Expected
These wings were not what I expected. I did not read the description properly and realized only after they came in that they do not include the launcher. They are merely extra wings for the launcher if you already have it not. Wanting to spend the $40 on the launcher I am working on building one of my own out of PVC using compressed air from a bicycle pump.
