I have very fine thin hair...been taking for over a month now and I see a difference in my hair...not loosing it when brushing or styling and its thicker. I have also noticed wrinkles around my eyes are less. I mix this product with chocolate L Evate (by Steve Harvey) with cold water and ice and shake well....drink on my way to work. This is not going to happen over night....I if you are going to try this you got to give it over a month to notice a difference. I am sure it differs for all people. I recommend all New Chapter products, I take their vitamins and they work well.....

New Chapter makes great products and I wanted to love this as it hit all the marks but it is pretty much undrinkable unless you're into savory coffee. The only way I could get it down was to just use water and add salt to make a broth. So it may be unflavored but it is most definitely not flavorless. And it clumps.

Bought this for my wife and she likes it so far! Easy to add to our current morning routine since it's nearly undetectable in smoothies and can even add it to iced coffee.

I’ve tried a number of collagen supplements but haven’t stuck with one as I generally find them off putting in terms of the smell and taste. This New Chapter collagen with sea buckthorn is an unflavored powder that’s a bit funky but the odor and taste are better than most others I’ve tried, and I can actually get it down when mixed with a chai or other flavorful hot tea. This powder doesn’t dissolve just by stirring, but it dissolves completely when I add it to my hot tea in a stainless steel travel cup with a lid and vigorously shake it. I can actually drink all my tea that has a full serving of the powder without being bothered by the taste. It’s not as if I affirmatively enjoy it, but this one is more mild than others I’ve tried.Unfortunately, I’ve gotten a headache shortly after finishing a serving of this collagen all three times I’ve used it. I’ve read sea buckthorn can cause headaches in people with high blood pressure, but I don’t have high blood pressure. I’ve read various sources that say some people are sensitive to collagen powder and get headaches. While I can’t pinpoint the exact cause, I feel confident it’s something in the powder that triggers the headaches, so I’ve discontinued use. I can’t say this is a bad product as I do have food sensitivities and allergies, though none I’d expect from this powder. I also can’t recommend it as I had a reaction and can’t claim any benefits. So I’m rating this product 3 stars.
