It’s so beautifully done, making it so intriguing to children. I love the activities. I can print and use them over and over if I need to. You can use each activity based on your child’s need or concern. It’s very customizable. I love how comprehensive it is, too.

I am an EMDR Therapist and I used this workbook immediately with 10 yr old client. And it has pages just for parents for the therapist to explain EMDR step by step. Colorful engaging exercises for young clients up to teens depending on their emotional maturity. I have also used it with adults to bypass their over thinking.I bought the spiral so I could easily make copies over and over for years to come.Highly recommend!

Easy step by step guide to working with children and EMDR. Highly recommend. It helped me tremendously.

I got this book to become more familiar with how to work with kids using EMDR. What I found that some of these handouts are completely appropriate for teens/adults as well. For example, a patient was having trouble understanding the window of tolerance, but they were able to understand the “stoplight” analogy in this book. This book is a golden resource to have if you treat kids or adolescents with EMDR. It’s now a staple in my EMDR resources.
