This wool hat was soooo warm on my freezing vacation and everyone complemented me on its gorgeous bright blue hue. I have already hand washed and dried it and it came out great.

Kept our heads dry and warm without being too hot during our 12hour hiking days. It was rainy and VERY windy on some days. Weather in the Arctic Circle is very unpredictable. Merino wool helps with all the above and is very soft, unlike some other types of wool. Material stretches so I was able to wear it over my hair clip & managed to keep in my waist-length hair. Very light to pack.

It's a looser feeling knit than the lighter weight version from Minus33, but it's a decent hat. It is warm and soft, but the knit has me questioning it's longevity. I'm hoping it won't wear too quickly. I've had inconsistent experiences with this brand, from their gloves that fell apart within the first week of wearing them, to their light weight hat and gator that have worked out great so far, to this hat that's just okay for the money.

I bought this for my son after having bought one for me. The wool is extremely soft and the warm. I get cold easily, so this worked out great for the colder days/nights. I also have a thinner beanie that I wear in the house when it's cold that keeps the chill away. 1000% would buy again.

Bought this hat with other minus 33 gear to tackle some cold weather hiking (15 degrees, windy) in New Hampshire. I absolutely love this Marino Wool product. It kept me warm when I needed it to. I had to take it off at one point because I got too hot out on the trail. Hair froze, popped this back on, and no problem in about 10 minutes. Does exactly what it advertises, meaning it wicks the water away from you. I was surprised at just how fast it dries in the field (10-15 minutes on a good sunny day). Color is good. I bought all the blue stuff, so my gear coordinates. I recommend this product.
