Like most men, I like and appreciate quality/ precision tools of any kind. This one is no exception. As the descriptions says, it is made of 304 stainless steel, (heavy for its size) and is nicely polished with no burs or sharp edges. It does measure out one tablespoon/ 15ml (confirmed with other measuring spoons and a graduated cylinder). I have a reusable K cup filter and I needed a consistent measure of coffee. After an online search, I found that two tablespoons or 10 grams of coffee is what is used and recommended by many people. When full (level with the brim), this measuring spoon holds 5g (+/- 0.1g) of my coffee and fits nicely into the top of the filter cup with little to no spillage. Two scoops, 10grams every time. Perfect. What's not to like? I like it so much that I may buy a full set of these. As a side note, several reviewers have commented that as the coffee bag gets closer to being empty, they can't reach the bottom of the bag. Well, amazingly enough there is a special tool that can solve this issue. I use a pair of scissors to cut a few inchers or centimeters off the top of the bag for easy access to the remaining coffee. When finished, fold the top of the bag over and put a clip or rubber band on it. Problem solved. Easy.

Appreciate the long handle!

I wasn't awake and I dropped our hard plastic coffee scoop on the floor and broke it. This metal one is really fancy to me, very nice. Our last scoop was white and you could barely read the measurements on the handle. The metal scoop is very clear. Nice handle. This one won't break if I'm not awake and drop it.

Bought this to replace my lost coffee scoop. I find the handle to be pretty spartan-looking and not as pretty as the one I lost. However, it does its job with great satisfaction so I have no issues with it.
