This is probably a long shot but has anyone used a bissell proheat or aroma pro? I was wondering how much better suction this is.

100% I used the bissel Pro heat 🔥.. But this machine is on another level... You do have to get used it.

How wet are the carpets after use?

Remarkably dry to the touch. I have have had a number of carpet cleaners over the years - this is the best and the simplest to use and does not leave the carpet saturated with water. I can tell that the carpet has been cleaned by the colour of the water removed. it uses a lot of wAter and a lot of detergent. Best that I have used.

I have tried cleaning mud stains from the dogs by hand on a light grey carpet and cannot get them out, would this get them fully out?

I havent ever had any problems with stains. You may need to do the area more than once, my carpets are light colours.

Does the hand held brush have an agitator like the spot cleaner machine?

I’m not familiar with the Spot Cleaner, but no the hand held is just that - hand held. But the machine in general is the finest carpet cleaner on the market IMHO and we have tested many.
