This is THE German Potato Salad bowl.Everyone in the family that uses the recipe uses one of these bowls.It is the perfect size, weight and colour.Oh yes! It HAS to be this colour.Appearances are important, and this is the exact colour & design as the one back in.The Old Country . . . Probably.It was time for me to get mine.And it is as glorious as I thought making a batch of Potato Salad to last the whole week.It apparently has many other functions, such as great for punch, tuna salad, mixing & proving bread.But that way madness lies.This is my bowl.There are many like it,But this one is mine.And it's for Potato Salad.

Not cheap but looks the part and really useful. These once graced the kitchen of everyone's Grandmother and are miles ahead of horrible unhealthy plastic things that get scratched and stained over time. It is a high quality product and I would expect this to be with us for ever now. The big 6l capacity makes it perfect to use without stuff jumping over the sides, and the traditional design is made to be grippy if you're the sort who wants to cuddle your bowl while mixing up something big and stodgy in it!!

Lovely item arrived in perfect condition. Mason Cash 29cm mixing bowl in cane design. Very well packaged in decent bubble wrap and packing paper in a large cardboard box. Mason Cash stamped on the bottom. I’m delighted with my purchase which fits in my microwave and goes in the dishwasher and I can use with my electric handheld whisk. Great for my cakes, cookies, brownies and sourdough loaves amongst other things. It’s the perfect size actually.

So every house in Ireland would have had one of these mixing bowls so iconic back in the 70s & 80s, so glad to see they are as popular as ever. My own mother passed away 5 years ago so I had her original one it was so old but I loved it. It broke last week I was absolutely heartbroken. But Amazon to the rescue, placed my order and within 2 days my bowl arrived very well packaged and the bowl looks great. Delighted with it. Here’s to many more days of baking.

Big Non Scratch, baking batter ,bread proofing it's good ,high quality thick Love the look ,easy to store but holds great capacity of flour .Easy to use for lots of baking Cleans well,and sturdy it does not move arround when in use .Will be using this for baking
