Snark AIR-1 Air Rechargeable Clip-On Tuner, BlackBought because i pretty much got sick and tired of forgetting to replace the battery which for some reason are becoming more expensive as time goes on.This being rechargeable makes it more convenient it takes around 2 hours to fully recharge.The display is nice and bright the orientation of the display can be changed by tapping the airplane on top twice which also stays if you just power off the device.The tuner does automatically turn off after 2 minutes if not in use so if you forget to turn the device off i will do so after 2 mins in order to save battery.I would say this is pretty much as accurate as it gets so would say its reliable.easy enough to hide behind the headstock and the display can rotate for a better viewing angle.Overall very convenient, easy to use, accurate and can be clipped on in a way where no one can see it.Display is see to see and in turn its easy to read when tuning.

Brilliant piece of kit. Bit pricey but bought it on special offer. Does its job very well and looks very cool.

Seems to easily fit most headstocks, but the digital letters could be easier to read, e.g. D & B look more like O, but work well. The On-Off switch could be more positive.

It looks lovely on my ukulele, but I don’t think it’s as accurate as my other tuner. Plus, turning it on and off is a little difficult- sometimes it has me wondering if it’s ran out of charge, and I’m tapping it and tapping it over and over - just as I’m about to give up, it’ll come on.The only other thing is that the manual says the display will rotate if you double tap it, but no matter what I try - it doesn’t work.

This tuner seems to work OK, BUT, it appears to have a mind of it's own sometimes. For example I tested it against my usual & more expensive chromatic tuner and several times it agreed with my original tuner. But when used again only minutes after it didn't show the same result, it showed either a sharp or flat note. Most annoying.However it still is probably a better choice than some cheaper tuners. Also I find that the shape of it also makes it a tad awkward & cumbersome. It comes with a cable & a somewhat shoddy plastic carry pouch, a larger cloth drawstring bag would be preferable. Would I buy it again ?? CERTAINLY NOT !! I will stick to my usual battery chromatic tuners, even if they are more expensive. Hence 2 stars.

I purchased this tuner mainly to keep my (resurrected) 12 string acoustic guitar in tune. I tried a cheaper tuner initially but sent back as it was unreliable. This tuner is well worth the price. No more ear twitch tuning 12 strings. Simply tune by eye using the display and the guitar is 'Wonderfully and Gloriously' in tune. Very easy to use. The display is beautifully clear even for my bespectacled 76 year old eyes right down at the far end of a 12 string acoustic guitar headstock. Excellent...Very Happy....
