I recently bought this roof rack for a beach trip with my family, and it was a must-have for our car. The canopy, beach chairs, and our folding wagon fit on top, which made a lot of room inside the car for other important things. I was surprised by how much the rack could hold and how sturdy it was, especially considering how much gear we had to move. But the setup process wasn't very clear. Even though the directions were clear, it took longer than I thought to line up all the parts and secure them properly. Having an extra pair of hands would have made the building go more smoothly. But once it was set up, it felt strong and safe. A set of locking straps would have been nice to have come with the cargo basket. Even though the U-bolts that came with it were fine, ratchet straps would have made things safer and easier to use, especially for attaching things that aren't round, like our wagon and canopy. The rack worked great on the trip to the beach. We were able to keep all of our stuff safe, and there was no wind noise or shifting during the drive. This was made much easier by the wind fairing that could be taken off. It made the long drive to the coast a lot more enjoyable. The TOOENJOY rack is a great buy for anyone who needs more room for their stuff when they go on trips. Just be ready for some trouble when setting it up, and you might need to buy some extras, like ratchet straps or a cargo net, to make loading and attaching your gear even easier. Even though it was hard to set up at first, it made our trip to the beach much more fun and easy.

It was a bit of a go to get this together .... a few tips01) assemble on a table just large enough so you get get to all four sides with ease.02) take the rods that are tapped and hand screw the bolts all the way in in and out acouple times to clear the threads03 lay all the rods out and slide each on as far on one of the sides.each rod is a bit shorter then the depth of the hole SO .04 line the other side up with the rods and set each rod just below the how with the edge close it .05. gently pick up a rod from one end insert in the hole till it is just inside,mind you do not pull it out the other end.06. thread the bolts in going side to side and down the the front of the tray bottom.07 once all the bolds are in tighten them up

Sturdy roof rack and 1year after installing the rack, it is still free of rust. This is on a car that is parked outside. Only complaint/CON is that the Tooenjoy logo looks distasteful. Suggest a smaller logo or something that does not pop out as much

Great value for the money. It fits on top of my Jeep Trailhawk perfectly.

We purchased the carrier basket 601-160. For step 3, the top screws on the side pieces do not screw in to anything. They just fall right out. Please advise!

Mounted this on top of my ELANTRA looks sick. I love that it’s not rounded and it’s squared off.

The instructions are not clear, and two of the screws didn't fit within the aligned slots, instead of creating a return. I have a personal Dy and Tap set I had to re- Thread two of the support rods.

I love this roof cargo basket!I had purchased a cargo bag, and roof crossbars, but I didn't like the idea of the cargo bag touching the paint of my car. This roof rack was the perfect solution because it fit my cargo bag, almost to the T.The installation is rather simple, but does take a little longer than expected since you have to screw in the bolts manually. However, once installed, it is very sturdy! I took a 20 hour drive down to Florida, from Chicago, and this roof cargo basket did the job flawlessly. Once I saw that everything was secure in the basket, I never once was concerned about the cargo bag falling out.Great purchase if you just need the basket!
