The product looks good however the quality is not the best
This is a product we used to have in our childhood home and I always wanted something similar. The product looks good however the quality is not the best. It is really light weight and not sturdy at all. It looks like it might fall apart in any moment. With regards to the functionality is OK. Is not the best. It is definitely nothing like the one my parents had when I was a kid but it does the job. I guess you it is reasonable for the price.

Not very good - Needs re-designing.
Unfortunately it's not a great bit of kit. It's flimsy and poorly y made. It does look good but fails to deliver on its looks.I juice limes regularly - and this probably got 25% of the juice out of the lime. My handheld squeezer get nearly all the juice.I had one of these lever presses before that was excellent - well designed and simple to use - this however is a poor relation.

Great for lemons
Brilliant. I bought this to juice lemons. I was put off by the other reviews but then bought this as there weren't many choices. It's great for juicing lemons, to press is perfectly conicol for lemons and gets all the juice out. Its sturdy and easy to clean. I tried it with oranges but it doesn't get all the juice out, I think it's the wrong shape for these.

Worth the money. But not a well engineered product.
Not bad, functional and solid but not a mechanically 'slick' product. Could be a bit better constructed with the ratchet handle better fitting together. Would be 5 * if it wasn't quite so Clanky.

This was my purchase of the year. Absolute bargain. Love it.

Not as sturdy as it looks
The material appears to be chrome so won't rust, however it is less strong than stainless steel so after few weeks of usage for about 2 times per week, I noticed that the uper cup no longer aligns with the bottom cup as the back supporting stem is slightly bent backwards due to the pressure. Due to this now I can only get about 80% of juice out of each orange so not very impressed since I bought this at price of £22+ without discount. At this price I think I can buy an electric juicer which will give me more juice out of each orange and will also work with grapefruits, which are too big to fit ito the pressing cups of this one.
