Dometic CRX 65T Compressor Refrigerator - 3-in-1 Fridge Freezer with Bevelled Edge for Space Saving - 65L Black Door Mini Fridge Camper, RV or Boats

I have always heard good things about Dometic fridges. I bit the bullet and paid the extra money to get one. I am in the process of building out my new camper, and without thinking through things, I took the fridge out of the box and threw them out. My first mistake. Next, I was working on the electrical so didn't get to text out the fridge right away. But I read it's good to let these sit for a few day to let the gasses settle. When I did finally connect it to my battery directly, the fridge would power on but it would not get cold. I let it run for a day and still no luck. My second mistake was not reading the return policy. Instead of relying on Amazon's amazing customer service with regards to returning merchandise, one must return the product directly to Dometic in its original packaging like new. I also had to contact Dometic. After 5 different calls I finally spoke to a woman who was not only unfriendly, she wasn't very cooperative. Basically, she said I would have to take it to one of their service centers which is 30-45 minutes away. So I have a seven hundred dollar box sitting in my camper that I can't use until I can make it to the service center. Oh, I did buy the extended warranty which is useless until the Dometic warranty runs out in a year. Their customer support is non existent as far as I can tell. I'm not happy.

I purchased this unit a year and a half ago I hooked it into the solar system of my RV. I have never turned it yet it's been running every day, it draws hardly any power, and it runs flawlessly. I have it set at the medium temperature setting and it stays very stable at about 34°

We bought this product in February 2023. We are in the middle of our van conversion and did not install the refrigerator until April 2023. When we tested the refrigerator, it turns on but it doesn’t get cold. We reached out to the seller and the only suggestion the seller has is to have the Dometic refrigerator be check at a company that device Dometic products. We took it to Mike Thompson RV for service and we were informed that the compressor is the problem. It took 6 weeks for Domestic to response and supposedly gave us a new refrigerator. Took our van home with the new refrigerator. We turned on the supposedly new refrigerator and still has the same problem.This refrigerator sucks. We paid so much money for a product that doesn’t work.We are going to try to reach out again to Dometic and check what they can do about this.So far the seller and Dometic sucks.

This fridge works very well. My only complaint is that I wasn’t aware that it does both 110 and 12 volts. That should have been listed in the specifications. That would have been nice to know but that is a minor issue. Other than that the fridge works quite well and it was a great replacement for the icebox in my 85’ Jayco popup camper.

The fridge installed easily and runs well. The inside shelves are stainless are are super super sharp! I am needing to get tape to cover the edges to prevent cuts.

its works for short burst of time. I bought for my boat, it works and then it doesnt. the design is great but the overall product is a sad piece of junk. if made well as needed it could be a great product. I am installing something else. as I want my food NOT spoiled.

This is not a CRX 65T, its the regular CRX 65 - old version!!!Beware, the picture and the fridge are improperly listed here. This is not the CRX 65T, the newer version, which the picture and the listing denote. It is the older version which is the CRX 65. Not the worst thing in the world, but if you were hoping for the item that is listed, be ready to get the older one.

The refrigerator in my fifth wheel blew its cooling unit and it costs $4,000.00 to replace so I ordered one of these instead. Very small compartment but with the freezer removed it's just enough for one person. Wired it directly to my fifth wheel master battery with alligator clips. Works great.
