You get what you pay for. Bought as a present. The pendulum is extremely lightweight and there is no cover for the battery compartment at the back. The tunes sounds horrendous and tinny so make sure you turn the volume right down and set to just chime. The instructions are confusing and it still doesnt chime on the hour despite resetting it again. Having said all that it looks nice up on the wall

Fab sounding and looking clock, easy to set up. Great for my elderly parents who want a chiming clock but no hassle of winding it up. Great

All the parts are cheap and the chiming mechanism is tinny and horrible. Don't waste your time on this one!

I would have given it five but so difficult to adjust the sound to match the time. I still don't have the right amount of dings for the time.

I ordered this clock as a gift from the kids for mom. The first one arrived and it was a few days before I unpacked the box. As I went to slide the clock out, the top decorative piece cone right off. Looking at it, it was barely attached to begin with. I called Amazon and explained the situation to them. They provided me with a credit and luckily the clock was still on sale. When I received the credit, I ordered again and this time checked the clock when the new one arrived. It was built better.Set up went fairly easily. The manufacturer had emailed instructions to me and there was a set included in the clock body as well.I did end up having to push the SET button in the first part of the instructions to get things working, and I fiddled a bit with the second hand to get it closer to the hour chime. The clock takes 4 batteries and the second set seemed to get the second hand running. We have the chime at half volume and it is plenty loud there.Other than that, and so far, we are happy with the clock.

I love this clock. It looks beautiful on my wall, and works well.
