Decent product for Google Pixel devices!
So I typically don't write many reviews, but felt the need to write this one because the product somewhat exceeded my expectations.I have a Pixel 7 Pro and like many Pixel owners know, the qi2 standard doesn't work with our phones. So we're doomed to get piss poor performance charging on wireless charging, especially on these car chargers since most of them are qi or qi2.I bought the OG ESR cryoboost about 3 years ago and that charged like trash. I mean I was getting 1-2 watts at best. I kept it anyways because there were no better options. Recently. the mount on it fell apart due to plastic degredation from the heat. I didn't want to buy the same one so I tried various brands with the new qi2 charging to see if there were any differences. Turns out that I was only getting the same 1-2 watts. I returned them all and I tried out the new qi2 version of the ESR cryoboost. I was expecting the same 1-2 watts while charging, but that wasn't the case at all. I was hitting upwards to 8-8.5 watts at certain times! Look, I know that isn't 15 watts, but that's a godsend when everything else seems to be giving me 1-2 watts. I've been monitoring for the last couple days and it floats on around 7-7.5 watts. I've added a screenshot of AccuBattery Pro to show.

Nice concept, I would recommend
The concept is great, however my issue is with quality and customer service. The plastic screw developed a crack and all I needed was the screw replaced. I contacted after having it for 30 days and the company hasn’t even bothered to respondUpdate: They responded right after they got my feedback and made it right with me. I was pleased with the product overall, so since they fixed the issue, I updated the rating.

Convenient
I like being able to just put my phone on the mount and it starts charging, vs (yeah it's not thaaaat difficult) having to plug my phone in each time I get in and out.

Fast Wireless Charging without Overheating
When you are trying to purchase a wireless charger for your vehicle, there is always one major factor to consider: Heat.Wireless charging is not a very efficient process overall, and generates a lot of heat. For example, when using an Iphone or Android in my BMW X5 for a long drive with CarPlay or AndroidAuto, the built in wireless charger does not work efficiently as it causes the phone to overheat and not be usable. This ESR wireless charger is fantastic. I purchased this for my new Galaxy S25 Ultra with a QI2 certified case. I can ensure that this supports fast wireless charging, remains connected very well even when driving on bumps. Both the vent mount as well as the 3M tape mount are very strong and sturdy. I have no had any issue with shaking or stability. The also keeps the phone very cool even on long drives. I would highly recommend this charger, but make sure you do use a USB port that supports >20W power output per port (generally this means you need to get a separate cigarette lighter adapter).

Extremely slow charger despite using ESR QC3.0 12V adapter. Loud fan.
After installing this in my 2023 Honda CR-V hybrid using a dashboard mount as the ball joint was compatible, I tried charging my phone (Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra) with it and got unacceptably slow speeds and a louder than expected fan noise. The ESR charger was a little wobbly on the dashboard mount, but since it wasn't an ESR mount, this didn't concern me. The device held my phone securely, though the magnet was not nearly as strong as two other wireless chargers I have. The included ESR QC3.0 12V lighter adapter stuck out a long ways from the lighter socket and was very wobbly and easy to dislodge. It also had a distracting and annoying bright blue ring and internal lights that were visible through the USB ports. The noise of the fan on the charger was quite audible inside the car, though it was drowned out once I turned on the radio.I first used the included ESR lighter adapter and USB A-C cable. At one point, for about 2-3 seconds, the charger delivered 1100-1200 mAh of charging. At all other times, the current ranged from 10-490 mAh, averaging in the low 300s. It was very inconsistent and I couldn't identify any behavior or action I was taking that was affecting how much charge the phone was receiving. At no point did the phone or charger get warm, so I know it wasn't throttling.I then tried connecting the charger directly to my car's USB-C charging port and got the same experience, though the charging never exceeded ~600 mAh in this case.I tried removing my magnetic case and holding the phone directly against the ESR charger to eliminate any issues caused by distance. No change.I tried several different cables, and each of them gave me the same result - extremely slow wireless charging. At many points, I found I was actually losing battery power while the phone was on the ESR charger, and when I did gain a percent here and there, it generally took 5-10 minutes of driving to see this. This persisted through a reboot of my phone.I plugged my phone directly into the car and got 2A charging over the cable. I also connected it to a SnapCharge wireless charger and got 1200-1300 mAh charging consistently from that device. At this point I've eliminated the phone, the car, and the cables from being responsible for this charger's performance.I had high hopes for this device but unfortunately I have to return it. $55 is too much to spend on something that is only useful as a magnetic mount.

Keeps my phone cool
I'm impressed with this charger. One concern I've had with wireless chargers is that the phones heat up. The combination of being in front of the A/C vent and having a fan keeps the phone at a cool temperature. If I'm going on a long drive I know my phone will be charged and ready to go
