It does not take batteries (does not light up like on the box), just a 3D jigsaw.

My 7 years old helped his brother doing it and he loved it. I had to buy more. Hope this helps

Thats incorrect, on the box its up to age 99, i got it for my Dad last Chriatmas, its fantastic when the lights are on it, and i got him a tiny king kong to go on the top!
