Dax 100% Pure Lanolin Super Conditioner 397gm

I SUFFER WITH DIABETES WHICH CAUSES DRY AND FLAKY SKIN - MAINLY TOLOWER LEGS, FEET AND ARMS.I HAVE BEEN SEARCHING FOR A PRODUCT CONTAINING LANOLIN AND CAME ACROSSDAX SUPER LANOLIN.I WAS UTTERLY AMAZED THAT IT COMES FROM USA AND IT IS SO CHEAP.OBVIOUSLY, IT IS DESIGNED FOR HAIR DRESSING, BUT I HAVE TRIED IT ON MYTROUBLESOME SKIN AREAS AND HANDS WITH ABSOLUTE SUCCESS.THIS TOGETHER WITHCOMPRESSION STOCKINGS.MY SKIN HAS RECOVERED TO ITS NEAR NORMAL ELASTICITY AND SMOOTHNESS.( CAUTION IT MAY NOT BE EFFECTIVE WITH EVERYBODY !! )I HAVE RECENTLY NOTICED THERE ARE A NUMBER OF DAX PRODUCTS WHICH COULD BE AS USEFUL.ALSO BOUGHT AT AMAZON - DAX SUPER LANOLINLANOLIN OIL - ANOTHER FINE PRODUCT.

I bought this for my mother who's feet are always cold. She says it helps a lot to keep them warmer. But also uses it on her hair and is pleased with that. Non greasy and adds shine to dry hair, even at 95 years of age!

A little dab of Lanolin and you're on your way. I usually fix my hair in place with a little hair spray too but this Dax product is brilliant. I only use a tiny bit and use it to style my hair into a tousled effect. Looks almost natural that way. Definitely recommend this.

I love it

I usually buy this product from my local hair salon, but it was getting too expensive on each visits. I have use Dax Pure Lanolin for over ten years. With its ability to moisturise, soften, and condition my hair making it more manageable I cannot complain.

Despite the misleading label, this is not 100% pure lanolin, but something called petrolatum (presumably with some lanolin added in-- I purchased it thinking it was lanolin, and had intended to use it as a skin softener). It looks, smells and feels like petroleum jelly, and is sold as a "super hair conditioner." Against my own better judgement-- and because I hate to let anything go to waste-- I actually tried it, and can say that it is exactly like putting petroleum jelly in your hair. It's very thick and greasy, weighs down the hair shaft and is a total nightmare to get off your scalp and out of your hair. After only one application, I had to shampoo my hair five times over the course of two days before it went back to feeling and smelling normal.I'm sure there are people out there who would want this in their hair, but I don't. Without thinking of another possible use for it, I regrettably had to toss it in the bin.
