Q: What is the difference between the tonic and the treatment for thinning and loss of hair. Which is recommended?

I'm not 100% sure what the 'treatment' Lawrence H is referring to, so unfortunately I personally cannot tell him the difference. What I can say is that using the Plantur Tonic every day without fail, and the Plantur Shampoo about 2/3 times a week has certainly made a massive difference to my thinning/hair loss. Even though my hair loss has decreased to such an extent, I continue to use the Tonic daily.

Q: Can you apply the tonic to dry hair? Maybe overnight? I found it left my hair a little greasy last time i used it so wondered if ok?

Hi, Yes I found the same, that the product left my hair greasy, so stopped using it as I didn't see any huge benefits either. I haven't tried it overnight - not sure what difference it would make. Have you tried Nioxin products, these i've found are quite good and don't leave your hair looking greasy

I don’t use the shampoo and conditioner - only the hair tonic lotion to massage into the scalp daily. It certainly works for me .

Q: Does this smell the same as the plantur shampoo?

I have never used shampoo...but the tonic has hardly any odour...very subtle smell!
