Q: Would this be suitable for hozelock retractable hose reel

Q: Just dropped the padlock and now the code that i set when i purchased this in 2015 some time does not work. what can i do? other than buy another one!

I did exactly the same yesterday! I've had near misses a couple of times over the last month when I've opened the padlock, then dropped it, the combination has shifted without me realising, the arm has pressed in (and reset the combination code), then I've carried on to close the padlock and of course moved the dials with no idea of what the new (random) combination might be!! I've done a review to this effect as I think it's a design flaw in that it's too easy to accidently set a new, unknown, combination.I'll be getting a different lock even though it's a fine lock in every other sense.

Sounds like you have probably set the code by mistake as they are all pre set to the 0000 code. If you can post this back to me for my attention I will see if we can unlock it and set it to what ever code you want?Kind regardsNigel 01206213499 e-hardware
