All metal, well-made, all good
If you have a cold shoe and wish to mount something on it, like a light or microphone, then these simple shoe mounts might be a good solution for you. They're well made, and do exactly what I bought them to do. They are all metal construction, no plastic in them at all.I bought a couple of packs of them as these things can go missing and they're really handy. Highly recommended!

Device works perfectly for mounting zoom recorder to a camera
Sadly, the packaging was torn when delivered and these items had fallen out in transit. They were only a few pence so not worth quibbling about. Bought some more and they are perfect.

Fast Amazon delivery as ever on the cheapest version of these handy mounts. Solid construction so can’t imagine much will go wrong.

Does the job but design is flawed - stuck in camera
This does the job how the design of this is flawed. Got stuck in my camera and when you try to remove it the dials spin instead of the base. Buy at your own risk. Good value for money.

Adequate
Well, they seem to do the job, and they hold accessories tightly enough. I tried a digital recorder (but you get lots of handling noise) and an action camera, which are both quite light.But they are not precision threads! Probably the most slack and wobbly they could be, without actually falling off. Ok when they are tightened, but I wonder if they would strip in time, or if tightened too much.
