Why does it not come in a Makita box just a Plain cardboard one

Is going to work with 18v gseries 1.3m ahm battry

it appears that the G series only works with G series tools etc, I use my torch with LXT batteries and they are fine, check the Makita website, I dont think this will work. http://www.makitauk.com/products/cordless-tools/torches.html the web page shows all compatible tools, the torch is very good if you use LXT

Is it going to work with bl1850 5.0ah battery?
