Wasp Nest Decoy - 3 Pack- Eco Friendly Hanging Wasp Repellent

I have had these for about a year before I put them up. I did spray them with a clear sealer to make them weather proof since it is thin paper. It has held up well with the rain and was easy to put together. There was two nests forming so I put up the nest. The wasps were gone the next day.

Every year I get carpenter bees drilling into my deck and I’ve tried everything with no success. I don’t want to hurt them, but I don’t want my deck to turn into Swiss cheese either. I saw these decoys on an IG reel and decided to try. IT WORKS!!!! I followed the package directions and found the perfect spot to hang it. In less than a day my carpenter bees were gone and never came back!!! Incredible!! There is one caveat to using the decoy, especially if you are a gardener. I live in zone 5 and I should have taken the decoy down when my growing season started because ALL of my bees were gone. My bee houses were empty and nothing was pollinating the garden. I had forgotten about it up in the tree! Once I took it down, within less than a day, my pollinators were back and happily working hard in the garden. These decoys are the real deal and a very kind and humane way of putting a no vacancy sign up for the carpenter bees. The quality is great, even through multiple high wind and rain storms. I’m very happy with this purchase and will use them every spring.

The media could not be loaded. These don't work now. Maybe due to changes in the material color over time? They arrive a light brown tan color and fade to a white with light blue.

We always have wasps around our house, every spring they love our deck! This year I bought the wasp decoys. I put them up and we have at least 90 % less wasps! I loved them so much , I bought 3 more so I could have them spaced out around our yard . We love them so much we’re telling everyone about them! My sister bought them , neighbors and even the local bar bought some for their patio area and all are happy with them!The only thing is we replaced the white cord with a stiff wire so they wouldn’t blow around so much.The reason it’s 4 stars and not 5 is because the material it’s made of is pretty cheap, but they are reasonable to purchase but I was hoping for more then a month before having to replace them.

We have battled wasps every spring and this year is no different. One started building a nest in the usual spot and instead of spraying it, I hung one of these near it. The wasp has not been back. I cannot believe it, it worked!

After using paper wasp decoys for a few years we are constantly trying new ones to see which hold up best. Unfortunately Patio Eden has not been a top contender, which is funny because they look almost identical to others we have purchased. I was happy to see a 3 pack offered for about the same price I was purchasing a 2 pack for through another brand. Upon arrival I noticed the metal supports did not fit as easily inside the paper decoy, actually the little feet that fit into the holes were too far apart and needed to be mildly bent to fit securely. First time I’ve had that issue with any brand. Also, the color was brighter and lighter than my previous purchases - not a deal breaker but also not as well camouflaged. We hung them and went about life. Here we are 5 weeks later. Only one decoy has lasted - it is quite bleached from the sun (as shown in the picture), almost transparent and super thin in spots, and tattered - it’s color is now a very bleached aqua. Doesn’t even look like a decoy nest anymore. It has not withstood rain - which realistically I wouldn’t expect it to for long since its paper, but other paper decoys we have found to last 2-3 months in all elements before needing to be replaced - and they do not bleach or tatter nearly as fast. Unfortunately, as much as I enjoyed the 3 pack, I had to order another set of the FMI brands Get Lost Wasp decoy - we had a set left unused from last year that we put up in April that are still going strong, and have been in the same elements as our Patio Eden decoys (as shown in the picture). We also ordered another set of FMI a few weeks ago and replaced the Patio Eden decoys we purchased in April. If you plan on taking them down every time it rains or each time it is windy they will last longer, but then they aren’t a constant and aren’t doing their job. Pictures show torn Patio Eden and the other brand - both put up within 3 days of each other.

I would like my money back.
