Love this costume! The purple dress does not flare out but I think it looks better this way. I am 5’7 & 165lbs I ordered a large. It couldn’t have fit better. I paired it with fishnet stocking and black high heel boots. That hat is adorable! The dress is thin so be care when washing but it is stretchy and the coat flares out so may need to dry clean. It was a little snug around my ribs but the belt held it in place perfectly. I absolutely love this costume, definitely worth the money. The quality of the costume is not bad especially the coat. I highly recommend it 🎃

This costume will NOT let you down. It's fairly comfortably, not too hot, colorful and it fits well. I purchased the 3X/4X and it still had a little room to give (I am 5'4" and 205lbs). I shortened the width of the necktie a little bit and I also put a hat band in the hat so it would not fall off. I ordered mine a couple weeks before Halloween so I had time to let it air out and let the wrinkles settle, but that still wasn't enough. I was able to take a steam iron to it and ever so gently, and I mean gently, steam over some wrinkles and that helped. I only recommend this if you pay attention to NOT burn or ruin your costume because this material is not to be ironed. I also adjusted the belt by adding some velcro in the back so it could be tightened a little bit more. Also, buy researching this costume to some extent... I learned that the S,M.L sizes have a short, tight skirt and separate jacket etc but the plus sizes the costume is just one piece. The one piece has a zipper in the back and you just pull the costume over your head like you would a dress. The skirt is also a more "flowing" one than form fitting. You can probably notice this if you look at enough of the review photos. To sum it up: This costume is fun and worth every penny, you won't be disappointed.

Overall, I loved the costume. The quality of the fabric was decent. The fit of the coat and top hat was perfect. The con was the dress. I thought that it would be loose like the main pic. However, it was tight and very short. It's not built of women with curves. Bought a black petticoat and wore it over the bottom half of the dress instead.

So I ordered a XL. Thats the size of all my clothes. I'm a 16 in jeans. The size chart says a XL is equivalent to a 16/18. I could get it on but the dress part was so short my butt hung out. The coat almost fit I could close it but it was tight. Id say it was more like a size14. I am sending it back n I ordered a size up. It's really cute tho. I'm very excited to get the bigger one. I didn't even open the hat because I was sending it back, but I will update on the bigger one as to how accurate the size is!

It fit nicely and I was surprised by the quality!! Definitely give it a try! Seems to run true to size too. I loved it. Cute top hat, 🎩 love the colors.

The outfit overall doesn’t look bad. However the picture I bought this from shows a shirt that flows and isn’t tight with tulle under it. I got a tight little polyester tank dress (yes it is described that way in the description just not how it’s pictured). The jacket hat neck tie and belt fit perfectly. I’m a medium and the medium fit me. I’m just a little thick so my thighs, hips and butt do not work with this little tank dress for a medium. Since you can’t pick two different sizes in one package I’ll give it 3 stars. Hope this helps the next lady trying to decide.

I waited until the price of this costume went down after Halloween 2023 before purchasing it. The highest price was $89, so I'm pleased with the lower 50% price purchase. I tend to be a person who reads the reviews with pictures. The first thing that I do is look at the pics that people have taken in the clothing. A common complaint has been the skirt doesn't fit tightly like one of the pics. The reason is this. If your listing shows two pics with one being a slim woman and the other being a larger curved woman, you can see the difference in the way the skirt fits. The size choice you make results in the ability to only choose one or the other. One of the pics may not be available if you choose a plus size. I had to choose a larger size for it to be comfortable in this area since I wear my costume all day in an elementary school. The jacket is stiff. I put wrapping paper in the hat to keep it in shape and to also keep it on my small head. The bowtie is too small for me, but I plan to shorten and sew this. The belt is also way too loose for me. I plan to do the same for it, but I may put the cheap buckle on one of my form fitting belts. It worked when I tested it out. Because the skirt is very loose, I may use a tutu underneath it. I also plan to add either thigh-high harlequin tights or hose. I think that his costume will be one that I wear multiple times. I would recommend to others!

Third time trying to write this....my laptop keeps jumping me out of the review. Anyway, this is a super cute costume that fit fairly well except in the upper arms, where it felt a bit tight. There is some stretch to the middle and the velveteen is very stiff, not uncomfortable but stiff. I paired the outfit with some black/white vertical striped leggings, black ankle boots with lace-topped ankle socks, a black net crinoline slip and a super curly tri-color brown wig NOT a clown wig. I wanted something bouncy and fun. The top hat is super cute too and fit over the wig just fine without feeling like it was going to pop off so unless you have a head bigger than a bowling ball, it should fit and stay on just fine. I expect to get many many compliments with this one!!! For reference, I am 5' 3" and usually wear a 2X ~ I bought this costume in the 3X-4X size which fit around my big belly and with the velcro adjustable belt made me look more shapely., a nice extra bonus. I LOVE this costume and recommend it to everyone! Can't wait for Halloween!
