Q: How long is the blade itself?

If you would read the published specs., you'd see that the blade length is 3 3/8", total open length is 7 3/4", folded length 4 3/8". The finish on the knife is slippery so I applied several pieces of gun tape to it. I'm very happy with the knife.!

Q: I got the knife and it won't close. I watched the video but it didn't help. Any ideas?

All of these knives seem to come from the factory overly tightened. I've got 14 knives in my collection and on all of them I've had to back out the pivot screw, put a few drops of Tetra gun oil or EWL 2000 on the pivot post and then tighten the pivot screw back in a little at a time. While doing this, I'd check the operation of the blade to make sure it's easy to open and close, but doesn't wobble from side to side. The more I opened and closed it, the easier it got.

You are not allowed to own any gravity or spring assisted knife in New York and the overall blade length can’t exceede three inches

Because the great ol us enjoys restricting laws preventing citizens from have things like this. You can own a katana but not a spring actioned knife 😂 pretty gay, can't wait till I move
