Good quality seeds
More than enough germinated when started seeds indoors. Transplanted successfully outside when accommodated for more acidic soil needs.

Good results with this seed source
I had previously bought another packet of Loofah seeds from another vendor. Only one plant sprouted from those. I decided to try one more time, and bought these. From this packet, I got a very good sprout rate, and they are growing well.

Mislabeled seeds, but awesome results nonetheless!
Fantastic germination rate. We started our seeds indoors with a heat pad and shop light. We transplanted outdoors when the true leaves emerged. The only issue is that these appear to be Ridged luffa rather than regular smooth luffas. Check out the size of our biggest one so far!

Grows great!
I've tried growing Lufas in the past and very few have germinated. This is my first time with this brand and every seed I planted is now producing!

Disappointed :(
Update: Only 4 seeds out of the 30 seeds germinated. Only one plant out of the four plants look healthy. These seeds are either very old or these seeds were not harvested from the best of the bunch. Either way, they are not regulated to ensure that you get the best results. So unfortunately, I would avoid buying this brand.Less than 40% germinated. And the plants that did germinate grew well but produced small loofah. I used good quality soil and fertilizer. They were started in a controlled environment then moved once they had adequate roots for outdoors. I have never had issues growing loofah before, I lost all the seeds from the previous harvest so I bought these seeds. I’ll try a different brand next time as I won’t keep the seeds from these loofah, they are not worthy of continuing.

50% of germination rate.
Only 50% of germination rate but healthy seeds sprout within three days.

Plant all your seeds, you may be surprised!
I purchased these seeds as a whim to start a new project, knowing almost nothing about this plant. I germinated the seeds inside. About four seeds germinated. Planted all four and lost one, however I also planted seeds that “didn’t” germinate. I now have about 7-9 plants….not sure exactly because they have absolutely gone nuts (in a good way). Buying seeds online can always be a gamble, you’re never going to get 100% germination but I’m pretty satisfied for something that costs less than $4…esp compared to what my other plants cost lol

Not the gourds as shown
Not the loofah in the pictures. While we were happy with the growth and gourd growth...when we harvested, we realized there are different types. These grew into the ridged variety which is difficult to remove the skin. But the images show the smooth gourd. We had to do research, as every video we watched showed skin coming off easily. If you want the sponges, then I recommend you don't get these and waste months, just to be struggling at harvest time.
